Rob's Halfway House -- #8

Post by bac »

Continue as you were. Here is a link to the last thread.

Adult means old enough to take part in adult conversations -- you know if this means you. Please remember that this whole site is PG-13 -- even the adult threads! It's ok to talk about adult subjects, but please keep your language printable and your There are lots of entertaining and indirect ways of talking around risque subjects (*cough*baking*cough*).

Here is a post by Openhome about Breaking Dawn photos. Thanks.
Hi there ladies of the Halfway House! I'm glad you've all been chatting away.
Happy Belated Birthday Marielle

As many of you have heard, there has been a huge leak of Breaking Dawn pictures that were stolen from Summit. This is exactly the reason they have kept the movie under lock and key, and these people ruin it for us all!

The Lexicon will not post any pictures that were obtained illegally or even unethically, so please help us keep our boards clean and don't post anything here. Also, if you see any, please let me or any mod know ASAP. We do NOT want to promote this type of behavior.

Thanks, Openhome for the mods

 While MIA, I totally missed MARIELLE's birthday, ACTIONROB's kilt, AND the 200th page of HH#7! Welcome to our brand new abode, Sisters!! I so wish I had the energy and time to add to the wonderful decorations SwanCullen has already adorned us with, but I am forcing myself to be in bed at decent hours from now on because I... uh... well...

 Had a very scary near-death experience on Tuesday while on the way home from school to go see my lapband doc. I have not been sleeping well for a couple of months now due to this sinus infection/bronchitis. If I eat anything past 7 pm, all of it comes right back up when I lay down to go to sleep around 11 pm (Which is too late, BTW!). So, for the last three weeks since my last fill, I've been really struggling with getting my eating-workout-bedtime schedule under control. I haven't been doing so well. Consequently, I have been nodding off at the wheel of my car - morning and evening - daily for weeks. Tuesday, I was just finally at the point of exhaustion from the lack of sleep, the infection, and the meds. Well, I took a little roller coaster ride off the road...up an enbankment and back down twice, narrowly missing a light pole the second time... From there, I came to my senses and took the wheel and managed to put it back on the road - the wrong side, but no one was coming - and only God himself kept my SUV from rolling over. In fact, I landed right back between the same two vehicles I started out between in the first place... not a scratch on my car and its driver VERY shaken up and thankful to be alive! So, my new bedtime is 10 pm at the latest on school nights! AND... I am buying a Tempur-Pedic Cloud mattress this weekend. I have fixed the regurgitation problem with my eating schedule, but I still wake up at least 3-4 times a night with my tail-bone, hip, or back hurting. So, I think it's time for a new mattress. My lapband doc says I may end up being too tight and that may be what's actually causing the bronchitis, but I told him I wanted to wait a week or so and let the antibiotics do their job. I am finally back down to where I was back in November and want to keep it that way. So, when I get my sleep straightened out, I think everything else will be better. If I could sleep through the night and wake up feeling rested, I might be more motivated to go work out before school instead of after. Anyhoo... I may be a drive-by poster until the weekends from now on, Girls! :D

 :yahoo: Brand new thread!

Tracy~ Glad to hear your son seems to be getting over the strep quickly. I had the same problem with earlier this week but when I checked yesterday it was working again.

Marielle~ Rob looked so good in Remember Me didn't he? And when I saw the still with the birthday cake I thought perfect! So far my car hasn't done it again, although I plan on taking it to the shop to replace a part next week so I'll ask them about it while I'm there. In the meantime I'm keeping a close eye on the temperature gauge.

Susie~ Actually there was no power at all; the lights were completely out. The weather has just been awful this week. We needed the rain but not the lightning, hail, tornados and 60 mph wind gusts that came with it. It stormed all day today too; my office lost power for 30 minutes this morning. Yesterday I actually watched a sign get blown out and shatter on the road. There is debris everywhere. It's like a hurricane came through. Violent storms like this are not that unusual but they are more common in the summer. It should be gone by tomorrow thank goodness.

missp~ :scare: So so grateful to hear that you didn't get hurt! I'm glad that you're taking steps to keep this from happening again. Don't worry about not posting as often. I'm sure everyone here would rather you took care of yourself first.

JennJenn~ Thanks for giving the new Halfway House such lovely decorations!

Forgive me for shirking my decorating duties. I promise to make it back soon. Right now, I'm lost in an online whirlwind. Edward, save me!

wow! my heart did a little skip of a beat when i saw that there weren't any pages on the halfway house! this is my first new thread and i guess i'm just sentimental but i miss the last one. :bye: well it could also be that i just have a lot to of reading and responding to catch up on. i'll designate a time this weekend to do it. besides, i have pics from susie's visit that i want to post!

tonise, i have to say you scared me to death! don't let yourself get hurt please! i'm glad you are taking precautions (earlier bedtime and less lexing--though we'll miss you). i do think it's important to take it easy when your sick or even when life is busy. i hope you feel better soon, and that your new mattress you're going to buy will help out.

well, today i went to the clinique counter with my friend and we had make-overs done. we've wanted to do that for over 6 months! i wanted to learn how to do smokey eyes for dates with hubs. funny thing is though, jess did a more natural look and i liked hers better and she liked mine better! i think i have the wrong kind of face/eye shape for smokey eyes. i have the kind of eye lids that you don't really see (when my eyes are open), so when i have heavy eye shadow, it looks to me like my eyes are smaller not bigger. kind of disappointing. :( at least i like how i look in normal daily makeup. :)

well, this weekend i'm planning on reading your posts and catching up, so i'll be chatting with more of you soon!

Good morning ladies.

*sniffs around…* ….Ahhh A new thread for the spring…nice nice nice.

I want to christen this thread with some… flowers

Ooh and did you see the garden

To the posts…

Jaclyn, we are going to an Italian restaurant I really like. It’s on the banks of a small lake and really cozy, the food is perfect…the plan is to go out with just my bf but it might be that my mom and dad come to visit as well..

Caryn, fight as you might, they are mine!!!! (hihihi)…
Well, apparently I’m the only one than crazy enough to share them, but I’m all for sharing something like that because it might give you girls ideas…
I resent that bit about Bel Ami…I wonder if the production company ever visits the internet, I believe not one negative post has been made about Rob playing in Bel Ami…we are all to excited about seeing him in a role like that…I think that they can expect the whole team Edward fan base to watch it…

Hold the presses!!! A leak at Summit…I have seen that one before, didn’t the same happen with NM and Eclipse…they really have to find a better protection system…no worries dear mods, we won’t spoil it for others, although I’m mighty curious now…

Tracy, you are right Bel Ami should be r-rated and focused on the adult audience… producers are really to worried about everything, they just should release the movie with a good campaign…they have already shot it so there is no going back anyway…

JennJenn, I would like to see those pics as well, I won’t post them I don’t want to spoil anything but I don’t feel bad about watching them, although they are stolen, it happened with NM and Eclipse as well, you would expect that Summit learned from that….I do not condone thieving btw…
Thanks for decorating!!! Lovely choices…

Susie, ah well we had only one day of rain, today it’s better and tomorrow we are getting the first real warm day, 20C…(no idea what it is in F)…
Low calorie cake, nah you’ve got that wrong, with that bday cake you can burn calories big time!!! …Lady like or not, it is the truth…hihihi (having a big dirty smile on my face right now)…
No, I figured that getting over my gutter based mind need more drastic measures, you girls feed it too much…*LOL, co-worker now think I’m crazy*
I hope my mom and dad will come to visit tomorrow but besides that I won’t be seeing much of my family the next month or so…

Thanks Bac, for the new thread!! Are we at 8 already…wow…I started with 5…

Tonise, I hope you feel better soon, make sure you sleep well, you don’t want to have any sleep related accidents…

Christina, yeah, Rob really looks good in Remember me…I really have to watch that movie again soon…

Lulu, the bliss of a new thread is that we get a chance to redecorate it…feel free to add decorations, all Rob related is perfect…

Okay, so I see now on Robsessed that it were the wedding scenes and honeymoon pics that were leaked…I bet they have all been taken off the www…what I am surprised about is that they are leaked so early, the two other leaks happened much closer to the release of the movies…maybe it’s a wake up call to Summit that we really need the movie sooner, or at least the second part…a year apart is way too long…

One last thing of the serious nature…I would move the list to this thread but if someone want to do it before me please, because I won’t be able to do it today…if nobody is able I’ll do it tomorrow…

Well I’m off to work…

edit: Raine, I'm jealous right now!!!!!
