Amy - I can't believe I missed your birthday, sorry! Can you ever forgive me? Or maybe this will do the trick? What did your boys do for you? Are they excited for your birthday too? Has your oldest started Kindergarten yet? Did you cry... I am crying thinking of it and of mine and Kindergarten (see below.)

Susie - Wow sounds like you've got a lot going on this week! So are you taking a family vacation? Oh, what did you think of the book, The Help? I've been thinking about picking that one up but wasn't sure... The author has been featured in several regional mags around here. So DD is not a scotch drinker like her mum, lol? (It was you who said they'd drink scotch right? If not than please just ignore me.) I'll have to give that one a try.... Someday. Oh btw, are you still teaching? Because I do happen to have grammatical question. For some reason, I've decided to try harder at not ending my sentences with prepositions except I can't remember exactly which words are in fact prepositions and exactly why it is we don't end our sentences with them. Thought maybe you could help?

Tonise! Yeah schools back in full swing. You were a trooper to go in anyways. Little Man's teacher had a sub on the second day... Which we all know these things happen but it still kinda makes me go okaaaaaaay... But he said he thought she was taking care of her husband. I hope nothing serious is going on. I can't imagine being a teacher honestly but I really can't imagine being a teacher if my spouse was seriously ill. But I guess you are all professionals and sometimes work can be an escape (one which I no longer have, lol.)

Tammy - I haven't been around much either so I guess I got lucky to be checking in at the same time as you! I know what you mean about the job situation. I was a "server" (or waited tables) all through college and then some... Even had to work two jobs when I single mom years ago, waiting tables at night and office job by day. Very cliche I know. I've promised myself I won't do that again but I know I would if that's what it came down to.

Hi Tracy - How've you been? I drove past you (or Franklin) a few weeks ago and waved at ya... Did get a chill or did your ears tingle or any of those silly things people say when they say "oh that means someone's thinking about you"? I was on I-65 making my way to St. Louis to visit with my dad. Just me and the baby. It was an adventure... But traveling with one is so so so so much easier than traveling with two, at least at their ages. But I wont have to worry about that for too long because in a few short/long months I'll have three on my hands instead of two! We are very excited! I am trying very hard to remain neutral on the gender wishes. Or my own new meaning for the term gender neutral. I have all boys and grew up with all brothers but honestly at this point I really don't care. I'll get exactly what is I am supposed to have. My mom doesn't believe me, lol but it's the truth.

I am so emo these days though. Seriously, I was just sitting here thinking about who all I need to say hi to next and what should I say to Caryn since I am so not current on the Rob crack but, I am tired and I don't have tons of energy these days and scrolling back beyond the review pane below just seems well, daunting. Anyway, this rather typical thought process just brought tears to my eyes because I was thinking about having missed everyone here. Uhg I am such a crybaby these days. Commercials on the radio have me drivin-n-cryin. I know it will pass but wow I really don't remember being such a crybaby the other two times!

Anyway, it is very good (and very good for me) to be back. I've been on some medication for years (while not pregnant or breastfeeding) that I am in the process of weaning out so that combined with pregnancy brain and I will be more scattered than ever in the coming months. My apologies in advance. But that is not the only reason for my absence from the HH. I've learned something about myself in the past few weeks, I used to think it was just fanfic that would keep me up late, meeting only my minimal sleep requirements but maybe, maybe it's just me when I get involved in something? I won't bore you all with the details but my dad was adopted from Germany by a US military family in the 1950's. He was reunited with his birthmother in Germany when he was 18 or 19 but she died when I was 2. I've been doing a lot of research, trying to put all the pieces together, to come up with a clear timeline but there are obviously gaps and missing chunks of info. I've made lot's of progress, more than I ever expected to at this point but it's easy to get "sucked in" to the research. You my dear HH sisters are good for me because be it midnight... or much later... that I step back and realize it's time to take a break from Google translator before 50 year old foreign documents become my new best friends.... You will always be right here :] Such balance is so crucial when studying a rather gloomy period of history... My dad's personal history and Germany's national history. But, I promised not to bore you and I as I said earlier, total emo these days and another reason why the balance and overall cheerfulness of this place is so important to me!

And sorry if it seems like I am just jumping in but honestly, I don't know how else to do it, lol.

Hi and bye to everyone! Hope you all are doing great. I'll be back to check in on ya real ;) soon ;]

Good morning ladies!!!

Happy Hump day!!!

Exciting news…apparently two of the comic-con clips will be officially released on the web next week!!! I had hoped for an other trailer but short clips are okay as well…

So I decided to call off for tennis today… the next two days I have two party’s and I want to be able to stand there… so today will be a easy day…my butt firmly planted in a chair…

Suzan, I know the school system can suck and very inflexible. I hope you get it sorted out soon… Are you back in Leiden again? I’ll pm you for a meet up soon but I think it will be after my holiday, I don’t think I have much time before that.

Tammy, I really love the wallpapers you make…
Can’t you find a job in webdesign or marketing? you do have skill in designing posters and all. You could always work at the pizza place while searching for something better or something you will enjoy more.
I hope you hub will feel better soon, maybe this time the injections work…

Caryn, I really hope that they will put in Ness’s lullaby… I always loved shopping for high school years, new agenda’s to browse through, new pens and pencils, new bag…NEW CLOTHES!!! It was the best part of every school year… how did your son liked his first days at high school?

Amy, I don’t know when that break comes but I’ll enjoy it greatly!!!

Tracy, I have to giggle at your comments about Rob you made to Caryn… I can so imagine looking at a picture of him and describe it… I’m surprised you kept it pg-13 for so long, in general my eyes zero in on one particular spot and sweeps me away to the smutty fanfic world…
Uhm, nope… I don’t know any vampire yet! I could consider taking my next trip to Voltera and see if Aro is willing, but yes it would solve a lot of problems…

Tonise, I love that ‘sleeping like a log’ description… in Holland it is, sleeping like a baby, or sleeping like a brick… no matter how you sleep make sure that you do…

Susie, happy birthday to your daughter!!! 21 is a big deal in the US isn’t it? Than you are officially completely an adult right?
Are you celebrating it big time?

I don't have much else to report...
See you all later...

Good morning, ladies!! It's a gloriously beautiful morning here in the midwest. It's supposed to get warm later this afternoon, but for now, I'm concentrating on the pretty outside.

Of course, the beauty is only enhanced because it's

HUMP DAY!!!

Okay, on to posts...

Amy~ Yes, it was definitely very scary. Honestly, I think the city is still a bit in shock. But, it’s true. The finest of all the people there came out. Blessings through tears.

Tracy~ YAY!! Sounds like you’ve got it all figured out! Oh good gods, you are trying to kill me with all that luscious talk. But, it’s so true. I mean, we always talk about how lean he is. But, especially in the last year or so, he’s just ascended that last step or two that men go through when they are maturing and he’s broadened in all the right places. Those shoulders, and that back.. UNF!!

Tammy~ Tough times, to be sure. But you know we’ll all be here to support you. We all know exactly how right you are; you do what you have to to make things right. I’m just glad to hear that Workman’s Comp is paying for the medical treatment. While I’ve had back issues, never to that level. But, my mom had the same condition and has had two back surgeries. I’ll be sending all the healing I can and hoping that maybe the shots will take this time. I love the Lapa piece!!! I just can’t get over how HAPPY they both look!

Tonise~ It takes a while to get yourself used to the constant go-go-go of school. Get good rest and have a lovely day with the kiddoes tomorrow.

Susie~ Congrats on getting your assignment wrapped up. It’s too bad that that means that you just have to move on to the next one with no break. Keep working on that to-do list. You’ll get through it. Just take it one thing at a time. Happy birthday to DaughterDear. I hope it’s fabulous.

Rachel~ Bribery with those types of gifts will get you forgiven for just about anything, I’m sure! Wow, that is so cool that you are researching your father’s history. I always think it would be amazing to find out that information regarding my family. But, I also end up feeling like I have no idea where to even start. YAY YAY YAY for new babies!!! Of course we’ll forgive you for pregnancy brain and all the other fun that comes with the whole condition. :D *hugs*

Marielle~ DAMN GIRL!!! You need to warn a girl before you pull out SunshineyCaansRob!! That just about sent me to the floor. Probably a good idea to call off of tennis. Pick and choose activities. Biggun seems pretty satisfied with high school so far, though, he was exhausted last night. He was introduced early to his 12-14 hour day. He went to early am cross country practice then school, then afternoon cross country practice, then band practice until 9 pm. Poor boy was plumb tuckered when he got home.

Official BD Cast Poster~ Apparently, the powers that be have decided this should be the official cast poster for Breaking Dawn Part 1. I can't say I'm happy with it. I mean, RobWard&KrisElla look beautiful, of course. But, I just absolutely hate that they are not happy. I keep saying this, but this film, really for the first time, allows them to be happy together, to feel secure in each other. Yes, there's angst and drama. But, there's also love and hope and giddy happiness and the image that they studio chooses to convey that is this? :banghead: I just don't get it. Plus, as always, there's just too much canine in that picture for me. I'm hoping that they'll release better ones as we get closer to the actual release.

Alright, off to be productive.

Hi Everyone,

Another busy day. Yesterday I took the kiddos to see a movie. I don’t know if they do this for you girls where you live but every summer they show 1 showing on Tuesday mornings of old kids movies for a $1.00. Yesterday was Despicable Me. So I met up with my mommy friends and the kids had a blast. Today I am meeting up with more friends and taking them to a indoor play center with tunnels and slides and bridges and all that fun stuff for the kids to explore.

Are all of you ready for the kids to go back to school? Or did they already start? Both my lil ones start on Sept 7th. I know my lil fry guy is ready. My sweet one doesn’t know what is going on but once she sees that she gets to go in a classroom like her brother she will be happy. Since last year when dropping him off and picking him up she created a scene. She would scream and push off b/c she wanted to be with her brother so bad and play with the kids like him. So now it is her turn.

Suzan~ Trying to plan for any degree can be overwhelming, especially when trying to raise a family . Good luck it will work out in the end.

Rachel~ I know it can be hard to do things when you are in a dark place especially looking up history in the timeline of your dad. I think that is wonderful though that you are doing that. While it can be a dark and depressing time it is also something amazing at the same time. Hugs to you and if you ever need someone to talk to I am here.

Marielle~ You are the only girl I know that has more parties to attend!

Tracy & Susie~ You ladies cracked me up with your comments about my daughter and the doll.

Caryn~ I agree with you. They look beautiful but the emotion on their faces just don’t add up to the movie/book. drive by button. This post makes up for it. ;)

Raine~ Read a pretty interesting book called Wuthering High. Paranormal/mystery. Kinda cool how the author does introduces classic literature to the new genere. I like the author cause she is witty.

The other day I went to a movie rental place and I saw this movie titled Love and Distrust. I was so excited b/c I saw Rob P name on it. My first thought was how the heck did I not hear about a movie that he was in. When I got home I realized it was short films and he was in one of them which we know as Summer HOuse. I was bummed by being mislead by the cover since I already purchased it on itunes not that seeing him isn't great cause I can see that man play any role I just was hoping it was something new!

So, I tried not to, but it's kind of like a train wreck. You just can't not look. And, I noticed one very important and absolutely WRONG thing about the poster. Tayter is taller than Rob!!! What. The. Hell. I don't think so, chickadees!! They must have busted out the really really big box for him to stand on because, even with his growth spurt, Tayter is still only 5'8" or 5'9" and Rob is well over 6'. That poster just snaps my teeth together in so many ways!! So, what's next. Is the poster for BD2 going to be a picture of Failcob playing with Ness in a meadow surrounded by hearts and daisies while Edward&Bella look on smiling in the distant background?!?! :banghead:

Tammy~ Well, there's certainly nothing positive about Carlisle's look in this one. I think the orange is more a product of the coloring of the "dawn" behind them (way to play simple there, Summitt), rather than his hair color itself. But, his hair itself is a whole other issue. Seriously? Seriously. Why why why can they not have just returned him to his Twilight glory?

Desiree~ Yep, I love me the family movie morning special. I dont' often get to take advantage of it, but I know that my girlfriend who was watching Littlun went every week. I think they even saw Despicable Me. Yeah, the only positive thing I can say about that poster is Rob&Kristen are beautiful. But, granted, it's the one thing that Summitt really couldn't screw up (no matter how hard they tried).

AnnMarie~ I'm completely jealous right now!

Caryn, You've got it wrong girl! the biggest thing that is wrong with this poster is that the dog is so present!!!!!
Seriously, considering the first movie will stop somewhere around the moment Bella dies...The dog isn't in the story much, the first part not at all...
They should have shown a more happy Cullen family or a concerned looking family....the dog should have been in the back, mopping that he has lost the girl...

Tammy, yes I was very frustrated with the orange... let's just hope it's a fluke of the lighting,.

Happy Hump Day.
We are having a blast this week. Both my boys caught a fish. Monkey played with a worm for about three hours. He is such a boy. He loves bugs. The only bad thing that has happened is in the women's shower their is a HUGE spider on the ceiling. I swear on all that is Rob that it growled at me. GRRRR!!

Rachel - you are most forgiven. How can I not when you gave me pics of Rob and Peter. YAY on baby "peanut." How exciting is that!! So, when is your due date?
Tracy- sounds like you had a blast at your reunion. My high school was so small that we don't do reunions. My graduating class was 62.
Caryn- the BD poster...meh! They should have put Jake in the background and ExB should have been smiling. I mean come on, they are a happy couple.
Tammy- they should hire you to do a BD poster. Its such a bummer that times are tough for you. All of us that have worked fast food said that we'd never go back. At least it's a job right? I know it's not what you want to do right now. Hang in their Tammy.
Marielle-you are right. It's ExB's moment to shine. We've waited HOW long now and Jacob is still there?
Tonight when the boys go to bed I will jump on my lap top to do a real good Hump Day pic. I will try to sneak in throughout the day to post a little here and there.

Hey ladies!

I haven't been on here in forever, yet again. Sorry. :( Anyway, just wanted to say that the BD Part 1 poster that's floating around is supposedly just a draft & not the one they're actually gonna use. As soon as I find the tweets I saw from Summit ppl, I'll come back & post it. I hope for their sake that it's not the one they're really using!

Hope you're all doing well. ♥♥♥
