Thanks for the warning, Marielle! So glad I stopped by yesterday! :D

Just saw the new trailer and W.O.W.!!! I love it! Like Lynne said, I'm definitely still a little iffy about the whole fight sequence. They better come up with a damn good solution/explenation for that one. But after seeing this... They would have been complete and utter idiots not to include these incredible, awsome shots! I mean, Edward flying through the air, punching a huge crater in the ground?! (Edit: Actually, now I think it was Benjamin... It just looks like Edward, because of the previous shot, but if you freeze the frame, it's Benjamin. Right?) And then him swinging Bella through the air! I was like: What the hell are you doing, she's on your side! But then she comes around and throws the greatest kick in the face I've even seen!! And did you catch Kate as she was electrecuting Garett?! I'm gonna be a nervous, blubbering wreck during that scene.
The rest of it we've basically already seen. Love the whole first hunt bit, with Bella running from the humans and her attacking the mountain lion! And I like how we got to see little, tiny bits of the other covens. I'm not a huge fan of the red in the Volturi's outfits all of a sudden, but I have to say that close-up of Jane was pretty fierce!

(BTW, sorry no time for grammar check. I'm gonna be so late at uni...) Have to run!

Good morning world!!!

Last day of the week!!!! This weekend will be great as we are getting summer temps again!!
Don’t know the complete planning for the weekend yet but it will be busy…

I haven’t seen the trailer yet. My phone refuses to upload it and my work computer is blocking clips… So I have to wait until I get to my laptop… however I don’t like the fact that I’m seeing a lot of fighting stills.. no matter how sexy Rob looks while fighting, they aren’t supposed to fight…

And the red carpet pics are great… As it is Facinelli Friday… I’ll think I go with this one as my favorite!!!

Speaking of red carpets, meanwhile Kris was doing to Toronto Red Carpet…I thought she looked really bad. Her dress was great and the staff did a great job making her look nice but she just looked pale and tired…

Anyway,

Lynne, I think the fanfic base is a good way to promote yourself as a writer but you have to be careful that you won’t be the next fanfic writer who publishes…it will link you too much to twilight and I don’t think you want that as you are publishing an original fantasy story.
As I come to think about it, marketing a new book isn’t that easy… people will easily cast you off as the next wanna-be Meyer or Rowling…these day anything fantasy will be placed in that box…

Sean, I’m happy you found a job that you like. I know it sucks when you get less hours than you like but stick with it. Once they are used to you and think you are doing a good job you can drop hints that you wouldn’t mind taking more hours. It’s always easier for them when work kicks up to give more hours to people who are already working there than get a new person in.

Susie, yes…and my reply was meant totally sarcastic!!! You better be joking about leaving the lex or I would personally OD you with Rob!!! Hihihi…Do you know if you have nice people in your class already or are you working with the same group as last year?

Suzan, you’ll have to tell me when and in what your article will be published. I’ll have my bf find it at his work and copy it for me so I can read it.

Austin, I really don’t mind a fix-up house but the problem is that at my side of the country it isn’t the house you pay that much for, it’s the land. So no matter in what condition the house is, if it’s got a big garden you’ll always pay the top price. Which makes buying stuff to fix it up out of the budget… I’m quite handy and am able to do a lot myself but if it’s a really bad state to fix than we will have to consider the costs of hiring people.

Well I was already late at work, so I better start doing something before my boss kills me…

Here's a link to my fan reaction video to the trailer for those of you who want to see it.

marielle - that's true, but the ones who have done it so far seem to have had some good success! And it's not like my story was ever a fanfic or ever posted on any site. It's original, and I think people will see that. Some people will box me anyway. That's inevitable. There will undoubtedly be haters, but hopefully there'll be plenty of lovers too.

My only wish is that we could all be together when we get to see this final film for the first time. Gah... that would be AMAZING. *daydreams of winning the lottery*

Hugs to All, but I gotta run!!

I know, I know!

That Edward/Bella swing kick was very cool. Just HOW they resolve this is a mystery, but when you see the fight clips you can't help but get excited.

christopher on the BD2 thread thinks the attackers may be just expendable witnesses, who knows, but you can't have a fight without fatalities. Something got turned on it's head.

Yes. The screen capture shown on the home page looks...interesting. I couldn't tell if this was a part of the confrontation or a shot afterwards back up in Alaska and the electricity was some kind of foreplay. Kate sure looks like she is enjoying herself and Garrett sure looks intense. :D

Marielle, it wouldn't surprise me if Kristen had a tired or somewhat introverted appearance last night. I haven't seen the pics, but I would have been surprised if she had looked bold. If everything went OK, though, and Sean says it did, then I think that is great.

I haven't caught Rob's appearance either, so I'll check that out tonight.

As far as fixing things up, my wife and I were willing to do a little extra because we lucked into a half acre lot. The same thing goes here, lot size makes up a large portion of the price. We were a little daunted at first, but the house sits at the end of a cul-de-sac and the back yard faces a conservation lot and it had a nice big driveway that went around the side all the way to the back patio. I was looking at the land and my wife was looking at how much we needed to work to get things right. Much of it wasn't critical structural stuff, mind you, but simply things that needed to get done. There were most definitely extra expenses involved.

During the housing boom we saw a lot of very beautiful houses, but they had pitiful back yards, and a number of them were screened in patios only. Yes, it's nice, but no yard (garden). None, or even smaller than that one you looked at. And houses were often packed so very close to each other in those new developments during that boom. We had originally wanted a brand new home, but new houses with any kind of substantial land lot were very, very expensive.

And now, not so expensive.

Sean, Ginnie, hello and hello.

Everyone have a good weekend!

Remember when Caius killed Irina and Kate went balistic? Garrett had to hold her down and she shocked him, but he held on. That MUST be it. That's why I said I was going to be a blubbering mess during that scene. People overcome with grief and anger like that always gets to me in movies.

Hi everyone.

Waiting for my brother to get up so I can collect my books from the library. Just gonna put on a pair of pants and collect the books and visit with mom. At least I know that next week I work Mon-Wed 12-2 each day. And I found out last night that my clock/lamp also has a radio! Reception some times sucks, but it works. And then there's the rain tonight. Not sure if Caryn is getting it, and I'm saying this because she's in Indy, and what Indy's getting, Columbus (Ohio) will be getting, and if the system is big enough, well be getting it, and there is a severe T'storm watch the next county over until 6:00.

I'll be back later.

Morning all!

Another lazy Saturday! We go to my in-laws' house for dinner every other Saturday and usually watch a movie together after Kaden has gone to bed. My mother-in-law always cooks, and my father-in-law always plays with Little Man, as it's the only time he gets to see him. So I will be able to curl up on the couch with a book for an hour or so, before we all watch The Avengers!

Ginnie - wouldn't it be nice if that could happen. Anyone buying a lotto ticket?

Austin - yes, it will be interesting to see how it works out. I can't think of a way myself, and I hope it will be something we all find plausible.

Sean - stay safe in those storms!

As far as the weather, guess what? All the stormy weather I thought that I'd be getting? Well, it got dark and windy, but nothing really happened...

Aye, Sean, it was the STORM OF THE CENTURY.

Something dark rises in the forest. The drums are beating, beating.
