Good morning everybody!!!

How is life?
Here it could have been a bit better but that’s just because father winter refuses to leave.
I’m still not feeling really well… I hate that feeling.

Anyway I don’t have much to report so I’m skipping to the posts,

Susan, no the festival is indoors. Even the one that’s in the summer is indoors. And a good thing too. It has been snowing the whole Sunday.
No SWaTH doesn’t even have a pre-production date set. Imdb says it’s announced but noting more. Apparently according to imdb, Kris has signed up for 2 other movies that are in pre-production but there isn’t much information to go by.
Than you got even more snow than where my mom lives.
I’m sorry you are so stressed out about everything. Take a bit of time for yourself to relax.

Sean, I think I would agree with that person on twitter. Kris seems to be very clumsy at times.
It’s really annoying that her make-up artist couldn’t keep his mouth shut but at least that person didn’t let go of any other small secrets.
I think she hurt her foot the day before the Oscars. Because the day before that her mom tweeted about a lasagna bake off between her and Kris. I don’t see her doing that with a sore foot.

Lynne, it’s definitely on our to-travel-too list. It’s just that it will be very expensive and thing in the house need to be done first. I’m hoping to manage an Aussie trip in the next 5 years. That would be doable I think…

Alright, it’s time to get to work again.
I’ll be around later again!!!

Lynne: This is coming from Universal's CEO, the guy who's in charge of the company, and the guy that Comcast and GE are paying to run Universal, and the info came from a recent interview he gave to The Hollywood Reporter. Him saying that Rupert's out seems to make it official, which of course suits a lot of people. Having seen SWATH, I can say that it could've been worse, but it could've been a lot better, too, and that the writing and directing was lacking in so far as it was sizzle vs substance. IE, storytelling suffered due to SFX and visuals. Most fans wanted a veteran director for any sequels anyways for that reason. And, you already know who my pick is, and it's not hard to see why that is ;)

Everyone: Just cracked open a WWII Medal of Honor VG that I haven't touched in nearly a year, and rediscovered why I like those things so much. The newest one I have is def. a strategy minded game as opposed to a simple shoot'em up. It encourages you to use cover and to be clever and innovative with dealing with enemies and obstacles, and it takes a bit of problem solving at times to get the intel you want to acquire as far as searching for documents and items. IE, you do have to think a bit while playing.

And though the games are fictionalized, they do deal with actual events, mostly Nazi secret weapons programs, which is fitting since in most of the games you play as a US Army Lieutenant who is a OSS operative and spy (the OSS is the direct forerunner of the modern day CIA). But none the less, the games are based in part on actual events that happened during World War II and actual secret programs that the Germans were up to during the war, so they are to a slight degree a history lesson.

And I really do think that I have an infect eyelash or something like that, which is, as I mentioned, very annoying. I'll be off to bed in a few minutes after I bring some fire wood in and get a few other things done.

I'll be back later :)

Morning all!

I'm off to work for our business again this morning.

Also, there have been some subtle changes to my book cover. The new ones are now up on my Facebook page and I will put them up on my website soon: www.lynnestringer.com

marielle - yes, we're a long way away from everyone, so it is expensive to come down here. But certainly worth the trip! :)

Sean - that's good to hear. I haven't seen SWATH yet. It will be interesting to see what I think when I do. It's on our list of DVDs to get, so it won't be long now.

Hey everyone :)

I worked both jobs yesterday and spent Sunday at Ikea with my girlfriends. It's one of those stores that you can easily spend money at and I'm still needing stuff to organize my house!

I've got a slight cold so I'm taking it easy today but still trying to get some housework done since its bugging me to no end!

Anyone else excited about the DVD release? I'm fairly sure I'm going to go with the Target exclusive edition and I'm still debating on selling BD1 and getting the extended edition, much to hubby's dismay :P

Posts..
Marielle- sorry you're still having crappy weather, yuck! Our winter has been mild thank God! Hope you feel better soon.

Lynne-Australia is on my list too, it's so gorgeous there :) someday...how's the book trailer going?

Song- yeah, driving is annoying to me now, but I try to be more careful. Jason still gets nervous about me driving longer distances after everything that happened. Any updates about your dad?

Hello Everyone!

Marielle, Lynne, Songbird, Sarah, and Sean - Thanks for keeping this place going!

Sorry I've been MIA - my husband needs to use my laptop for his job search. He used to have a laptop through his former job, but of course now that is gone. Any free laptop time is used for working on my book. Sorry, guys!

This is all I have time for today. Just wanted to quickly check in so you wouldn't worry about Susie!

Have a great week!

So it seems there's no copy of the DVD that has extended part 1, part 2 AND the seven part documentary. Looks like I'll have to depend on good ol' youtube to see all those deleted scenes. I WILL NOT buy the extended version unless it's in a set with all the other extras I want.

Sarah - the book trailer is going okay. I think I have all the photos I need for it. I sent off to fiverr for a voiceover last night. It should come back to me in a few days. Then we'll be able to continue putting it together. Well, if you make it to Brisbane, you've got a room waiting for you at my place! ;)

Hi everyone.

I had a pretty good day at work, though I had a little phone trouble in the beginning (one of the counselor's phones kept going off on it's own and calling my phone at the front desk).

I now know for sure that I have an infected eyelash--I've been putting a warm washrag on it to try and bring the thing to a head, and I'll try and get my mom to pluck the hair out tomorrow if she visits; it should be noted that I don't trust myself with such items for obvious reasons.

Tonight's another "warm" night (where we can let the wood stove burn out), and I took a nap before I watched US Top Gear tonight, so I'll be up for a while. I'll probably log off briefly to catch the USTG re-air and and play some more WWII gaming, then I'll be fan fic time until I build a fire for grandma and go to bed.

And in the realm of fan fic, the action's gonna pick up soon. Nessie, Bella, Edward and Jacob (Twilight) are meeting with Shizu (Guyver), but when the current antagonist enters the picture, the action will pick up, and so, too, will the comedy. I don't know if I'll reach the conclusion to this tonight or tomorrow, but if anyone would like to read this chapter, let me know, and I can send an early copy to anyone who'd want it.

It may be a rainy, miserable day, but at least it's not freezing cold and a crap load of snow on the ground. Of course, there's one day next week where it's supposed to be like 25 or so, and it'll be early March by then--go figure...

I'll be back soon :)

Hi everyone.

Sorry to double post, but where is everyone? Has anyone posted since my last message, because I don't see any updates. I'm asking mostly because, for some reason, I was randomly logged out (cookie expired it seemed), and I had to log back in and this page has been acting a little weird since I logged back in.

Anyways, I did get some stuff done with my fan fic last night, and I'll try and maybe work on it a little bit more tonight, time and other things permitting--I do have to be at work by 9:30 tomorrow morning. But none the less, I'll try and work on it a bit more tonight if I get a chance.

Also, I do have a bit of a blurb about Rob. I read that cities around Adelaide are trying to limit pap access to areas where The Rover Crew are to reduce interference with filming. That's why, even though there are pap photos out, there's not many near the set, only when Rob is on his free time, which is relatively rare. Most Rob photos are of him posing with fans, and those are photos I can stand, since it's with fans and Rob is a willing participant in them.

I also have a turkey breast that--believe it or not--I only placed in the refrigerator overnight and it's now thawed. I'm thinking of possibly making it tonight or maybe even tomorrow. I also have some gravy that I can use to make drippings for it, too. I've been wanting to make this thing for a while, but I only remembered it last night.

So I'll go and see that the rest of today has to offer me. I only got up about a hour ago (I stayed up to start a fire for grandma this morning, which meant staying up until almost 9:00), but I intend to make the best of the time that I have. Speaking of time, I hope that we still have a turkey timer for the turkey breast if I decide to make it tonight.

Oh, and I just got some good news just now, too. My mom has not one, but two job interviews tomorrow, so we have to leave home early tomorrow to get mom to her first interview, but this is some pretty good news IMO.

I'll be back later :)

Who's it's quiet around here..I thought it'd be busier with the DVD release this weekend...

I worked another half day, then ran errands, so not much else to report except we're trying to figure out what we want to do as a vacation this summer :)

Lynne-aww thanks :) it'll be a while before we head that way but I definitely dream about it. I'm so torn about caving for the extended edition..darn you Summit! Hope the trailer comes out well :) where can I order your book from again?

Hi everyone.

Turkey should be done soon. I did get quite a bit done with my fan fic while waiting, but dinner's almost done now. All I have to do is finish the potatoes and gravy, and hopefully by then, the turkey will be finished. This might be my last post for tonight, since I have to leave early tomorrow to get to work and drop mom off at her first job interview, but I've gotten a lot done in a short time today :)

I'll be back later.
