In This River by Black Label Society

This songs reminds me of my dad who passed away a little over a year ago. Every time I hear it, I can't help but to tear up. I miss him so much.

Okay. The Bella's Lullaby that somebody above posted is tearing me up. It's beautiful.

Also, Leave Out All The Rest by Linkin Park. I have such a hard time listening to it on the Twilight soundtrack, and I usually just skip it. The song reminds me of my dad's suicide, and it seems like what he'd say before killing himself... :( I probably already posted it, but I couldn't remember.

Honestly--Bethany Joy Galeotti
Honestly I didn’t mean to cry so hard
The heartache was pouring in like rain
I didn’t mean to show I care

Honestly I didn’t mean to laugh so loud
But it just sounds so absurd to
Say that you want me
Say that you need me
after everything you’ve done

Really truly I didn’t mean to hurt you
I just thought that maybe now
We’d have better luck the second time around
Its always better the second time I hear

Chorus:
Find me in the evening when your ready to dance
And I will take you to places
where you never thought you'd have the chance to love
Love, Love is all we have
I will run myself in circles here without you

Please believe that I tried my best to forget you
but the memories keep flooding back like tears
I didn’t mean to fall in love

But sitting here waiting for this is torture
I'm so glad you're far away
Is that a terrible thing to say?
Well, I wonder if you're ok

Chorus:
Find me in the evening when your ready to dance
And I will take you to places
where you never thought you'd have the chance to love
Love, Love is all we have
I will run myself in circles here without you

Oh, I would run myself in circles here without you
Oh, I've tried and tried
And I can't hide from your love
Darlin' its too late to show me your intentions

You know we’ve got to find a way
To get past all the implications, every situation
Every complication that we've come from
Love is all we have
I will run myself in circles here without you

Darlin' love, love
Love is all we have
I will run myself in circles here without you

1972--Bethany Joy Galeotti
"Moving on from 1972 ain't an easy task," he said
Says he's been sober since she left him for dead
And the old man takes a swig of his non-alcoholic beer
And the tired man proudly takes a drag, it's been nearly 28 years.

And it still blows me away
How easily time is wasted
And it still blows me away
How easily were kept wounded
Anger is so real...

"Didn't mean to say the things I told you," I said
"Your interpretation was in your head.
I guess you could chock it up to a life experience
Go ahead and live your life while it's full of bitterness"

And it still blows me away
How easily time is wasted
And it still blows me away
How easily were kept wounded
Anger is so real...

And it still blows me away
How easily time is wasted
And it still blows me away
How easily were kept wounded
Anger is so real...

Ophelia--Bethany Joy Galeotti
Woe is me, something dramatic like I could be
Ophelia
Love's labor lost, before it began
I’m not trying to be clever
I’m just saying what I am
Ophelia

Oh, I’m turning over will
And I’m cleaning up this holy mess I made
Everything’s fine
Everything’s okay
Everybody loves a fool
Everybody walks away
Everybody walks away

Oh, my love
Oh alas, this has been such a sad affair
Such a sad affair
Well here I go again
I’m sinking in my faithlessness and fear

Everything’s fine
Everything’s okay
Everybody loves a fool
Everybody walks away
Everybody walks away

Oh, I’m turning over will
and I’m cleaning up this holy mess I made
I want to feel your arms around me
I want to know your love is real
I want to give you all you’ve given to me
But I’m still afraid to leave, to you

Woe is me, something dramatic like I could be
Ophelia

Don't Walk Away--Bethany Joy Galeotti
I could never leave you
Even if you asked me to
I could never say goodbye
Make you cry, Oh

I could never stumble
With you walking by my side
I could never love you
more than I already do

So don't walk away
Don't walk away
Don't lie, tell me that youre gonna sta
Please don't walk away

If I made a promise,
I would stay by your side
It's only the beginning
I love you

So don't walk away
Don't walk away
Don't lie and tell me that you're gonna stay
Please don't walk away
Please don't walk away

Oh, when all the road is dark and dreary
You know my nature, does not swell
This disposition must be washed away forever
So, please don't walk away
Please don't walk away
Please don't walk away

But I could never leave you
Even if you asked me to
Now I could never say goodbye,
Make you cry, oh
Oh

Las Palmas--Bethany Joy Galeotti
I woke up in white cotton sheets
With a glass of champagne in my hand
I looked out the window beside me
Breathed in the sea and the sand
And all felt fine

I stood up on a white tile floor
Took down my hair and I cried
I walked through the arches and on to the shore
And let the waves crash for a while
And it all felt fine

I was the only one
Walking on the ocean that night
I was the only one
Encompassed and kissed by starlight
And all the fireflies whispered your name

Love, love
Dance with me in this moonlight
Love Love
Don't leave me now it's only midnight
He's already gone

I laid down in white salty sand

In a gown for a party I'd never attend
I looked out the vastness before me
Picked up my skirt and I ran
And the moon was mine
I laughed at my foolish pride
Got lost in the mist as my tears relied
I wish you knew I stilled cared
And a lighthouse broke through the night
But the moon was mine

I was the only one
Walking on the ocean that night
I was the only one
Encompassed and kissed by starlight
And all the fireflies whispered your name

Love, love
Dance with me in this moonlight
Love Love
Don't leave me now it's only midnight
He's already gone

Sunday Train--Bethany Joy Galeotti
Sunday is only two days away
Already they said a train was coming in late
I’ll wait
This reminds me of last year
September, I think
When you said you loved me
But you had to leave me
So I’ll wait, I said

On a Sunday train
I can hear the whistle
Blowing you away
On a Sunday train
I can hear the steeple bells
Ringing a refrain
And I’ll say goodbye, again and again
Cause I can’t get it out of my head
And I’ll wait like I wait for every Sunday train

It’s cold here tonight
Christmas I think
Did you get my letter?
The paper was like this blue and pink
Two hours to go now
And already I’m here
Seat 24A just like you told me last year
They said it might snow
And there’ll probably be rain
The wind’s gonna blow
I’ll be here just the same
Cause I don’t want to miss you
And baby I miss you
Come on back this way

On a Sunday train
I can hear the whistle
Blowing you away
On a Sunday train
I can hear the steeple bells
Ringing a refrain
And I’ll say goodbye, again and again
Cause I can’t get it out of my head
And I’ll wait like I wait
I’ll wait like I wait
I’ll wait like I wait for every Sunday train
