Hmm, never watched the Hunchback or the Black Cauldron. I had a book of the Hunchback but I never took the time to read it and I remember when they advertised the Black Cauldron. I heard it was pretty dark for animated Disney movie. I didn't like Anastasia either. It kind of scared me. I liked all those fluffy princess and animal movies.

Hopefully The Frog Princess will be a good Disney movie.

I loved Anastasia, the songs were really good.
Black Cauldron was too dark for me as a little kid, too and I never really got into the story. But my little brother loved it. Whenever it was movie time we'd always fight, him to watch the Black Cauldron or Jungle Book and me to watch Swan Princess or Beauty and the Beast.

I loved Anastasia, the songs were really good.

In the Dark of the Night was great, so was Once Upon a December. But that's slightly off-topic, as Anastasia isn't Disney.

I think the Black cauldron was actually based off a book cos i saw on LibraryThing a book called the Black Cauldron which was part of a series set in Prydain which as far as my memory serves me is the name of the world in the film... interesting. well not that interesting just an observation.

Ahh I loved Anastasia when I was little the songs are AMAZING. I also loved the swan princess and beauty and the beast, and the little mermaid rocks! I still watch beauty and the beast and the little mermaid now

I'm waiting for Sleeping Beauty to come out because my copy of that got stepped on years ago, so I've been waiting for about 9 years to get a new copy.

It's already out on DVD. My sister got it for our mom on Christmas because Sleeping Beauty is her favorite.
