I agree, out of everyone I think Ashley nailed her part the best. Not that others weren't great and spot on too, but Ash was just insanely perfect.
It's been said here in the second video, so now I hope people will lay off the criticism once and for all. Ashley has cut her hair right up to her shoulders. The most recent pictures of her show her with much shorter hair, but its shorter than that still because she has extensions in right now. So perhaps people will stop whining and saying she isn't committed to the role ect. She didn't have to cut it off because she wears a wig, but she did anyway so it will fit better. Sounds like commitment to me.

she cut her hair, but it still looks great. anyone who thinks she isn't committed is a hater. through the interviews you can tell how much she loves this project and is a fan of it herself. it's great.

They aren't going to let her do anything different with her hair.

Ashley is perfect as Alice!
They are both so lovely and kind,
I think she is the actor who is most perfect to her character.
I really love them, both!
And I like the looks of Ashley as Alice and I like Ashley herself!

I just read in an interview that Ashley originally auditioned for and wanted the part of Bella. Let me just say that I'm glad she didn't get it, because she is PERFECT as Alice. Lol, I can't picture her as Bella at all after seeing her as Alice.

I could not wish for anyone better to play Alice than Ashley Green. I imagined Alice a bit smaller, but of course it is hard to find a pixie actress 
So I think that she was great. Did the best job of all of them.

I could see Ashley as Bella.

I think Ashley definitely LOOKED like Alice as far as her portrayal, but I think her acting was a little bit off..a lil forced or something...I dunno..its hard for me to describe.

really? that's an interesting opinion. i thought she portrayed alice perfectly. she didn't have many scenes or a lot of time to fully show the complexity of alice. nor did she have time to develop the character. we'll see this in the coming movies, for sure.

Ashley did as good a part as given, but I only wished that her and the Cullens were more defined in Twilight. When I saw her on TV she looks different, and I think she should keep the hair Alice had. Summit or who ever were in casting I think of all the roles this one was the one closest to what I thought Alice would be. That was great to know that your idea was not far off of the point. The make-up crew all did a great job with all the Cullens and can't say more. I am now wondering how are the Volturi are going to look like. Ashley did great!!!
