Utterly Edward! Dreamy...sigh...I had a hard time picturing Edward the first read though...mainly I think because Edward doesn't seem like a 17 year old cause he isn't) and being that I am not a teenager, trying to picture a kid who would be in high school was a little bizarre...but Rob fits my bill perfectly, and he is my age so I don't feel weird about drooling over him : )
And I think his answer to the first question is a perfect Edward answer!

I'm rather ecstatic about ol' Spunk Ransom being Edward. I really couldn't think of any one better. At first I was a total die hard Henry Cavil (sp?) fan, and I wanted him to be Edward. Now...no one else is better than Robert for the role.
Ooh! Another really cool thing that I found out. in 2009, he's going to portray Salvador Dali in a movie called "Little Ashes" So totally excited about that, seeing as how I am an uber Salvador Dali fan!!!!

Little Ashes has already been filmed apprently its meant to be released early 2009, january i think
there is a showing of it on the 7th october this year in london, i really want to go but i cant get down to see it, but i do plan on seeing it when it is released properly, not sure what kind of release it will have though im hoping its a biggish release
I am one of those people who was all for Rob being Edward Cullen in the movie!!! Although I imagined Edward as someone who is beyond perfection, when I saw the trailer of the movie, I was absolutely sure in my mind that no one is more fit to play the part than Rob is. It was like he was born to play the part of Edward Cullen. I am not saying that just because he is so absolutely gorgeous (I admit that Rob looks exactly like the person I was imagining Edward to be when I started reading the book, even before I knew that there is a movie), but more so because he depicts Edward's intensity. The way he looks at Bella, the way he talks... I can feel the intense emotions that I have felt while I was reading the book. Being the obssessed fan that I am, I started watching his other movies, but in my eyes it seems like I'm still seeing Edward. I think he would always be Edward Cullen for me no matter what other movie he does.
I only really heard that Rob. was playing Edward at the beginning of 2008, so I didn't have any problems picturing him as edward because I'd seen him on MTV and stuff with the whole make-up and contacts in.
He'll be great!!
Also, he has Bella's "favourite crooked smile" !!!
