Not to be a pessimist about the Oscars - but I would definitely take that article with a grain of salt - looks like it wasn't quite accurate. "Twilight presence" doesn't equate to Rob...so it's just wishful at this point. Not that I wouldn't be just as completely psyched about it as you...I am just trying to protect your hearts in case it doesn't pan out.

Oh, and since you ladies seem to be so active here...I have an "unrelated to Rob" *GASP* question. I wouldn't go off-topic like this unless I knew what else to do...but...

I have a friend who registered like a week ago. She still hasn't gotten an activation email. I posted in the "Glitches" forum, but haven't gotten a response about it. Should I PM that Pel person? Someone else? Poor friend is being SHUNNED hardcore by the Lex and I don't want her to give up. What do you smarty pantses suggest?

I would make sure your friend gave the right email address. They might have accidentally misspelled their email address. I know I have done it before. So they want to try and re-register.

I know it is a total long shot that Rob will be at Oscars.
There is some much misinformation info out there about Rob. I really don't believe much of what I read about him.
I was enjoyed dreaming about Rob in a tuxedo.
I love me some scruffy Rob but would love to see him all cleaned up. RAWR!!!!

Thank you so much for the tip. Unfortunately I don't think that's it - she's tried registering twice with different email addresses. So who would you PM about it? It keeps telling her to contact an adminstrator - but I don't see any except for Pel.

Oh please - dream away! I am not trying to kill dreams...sorry to be a bummer. It just breaks my heart when fans are disappointed because they expected something to happen and it didn't. It's important not to take anything too seriously with celebs, you know?

Yeah I would PM a mod. Pel is prob a good place to start. I think she owns the site.

Huzzah! I'm back! That was a LOOONG two days away from you guys and Rob!

ForJazz(Julie?): It took me two weeks to get my activation. I'm not sure why. I registered once, tried to twice more (but those two times both advised me to contact an admin). Then I tried with my gmail account and it finally worked.

I would try PMing Alphie, too. I think he/she handles a lot of that stuff, too.

I had problems when I registered, I even registered with two different emails and still didnt recieve an activation email after about a week. I just send a reply to the email you get when you first sign up and that seemed to work, obviously.
