Rob: "You can never be known for what you want to be known for," he notes. "People will know you for whatever they want to know you for."

He is so bloody wise and insightful? He's definitely grounded. I hope he stays that way.

Anyways..So I am a subscriber to US Weekly and there is a little blurb in the HOT PICS section with Rob and Nikki..The quote says "They are extraordinarily close.." The picture was dated April 19 and it saws that they have SHARED A HOTEL ROOM!!!!
I have a love/hate relationship with Nikki..I can't get past the fact that she was a complete ho back in the day and wrote Thirteen based on her experiences. I don't know..I'm just like, "Eww. I don't want that ho all over Rob!!"

Thirteen was a SEMI-autobiography. Nikki is from a broken home and Thirteen was a movie to show how family and peer dynamics can affect the development of young girls. The movie was maybe a little too extreme for 13 year olds back then but that sort of behaviour is happening young and younger these days. I've seen it happen to girls, really sweet girls. They don't do bad things because they're bad people, they do bad things because of their bad situations. I honestly cried for both girls at the end of the movie. And I cried again when I found out that parents actually went to Nikki's junior high to harass her for staring in such a provocative movie. She actually had to drop out it was so bad. I feel terrible for her but I think she's very grounded because of it. Personally, I think Rob could use a strong friend like that, romantically or not.

Yeah, that's just my two cents on the issue. Sorry if that came off a little too intense.

In lighter news, I read the Rob interview. It's funny how he KNOWS we're are going to be watching his gay scenes and still think it's hot.

As for the two quizzes, I got chocolate chip (yay!) and The Weasley Twins  SERIOUSLY WTF!?

^^^Sorry if my comment was offensive..I didn't know it was SEMI-biographical because when she was on Conan, she didn't say it was SEMI..she said it was all true and stuff..but anyways..I will keep my opinion to myself for the rest of it because I know I will definitely offend someone..and this is supposed to be a happy place of discussion..

Back to Rob, I agree with you somewhat Jadey..I think that was he says is true, but he is a little bit depressing. You can tell that with the whole rocket to "stardom" that it is affecting him..Before, he was taking on roles with some merit, and now I am sure he feels like everything thinks he is just another pretty face..because all he keeps hearing from the tweens and everywhere, "OMG You are so gorgeous..hot..blah blah blah.." I am sure he is thankful for the opportunities he has been given thus far in his career and I hope he does stay grounded in the midst of it all.

Yeah, sorry, I always get a little defencive for "underdogs". I''m just overly sensitive like that. But your right, this the happy forum (and probably the only cast thread without trolls lol).

I just realized I missed second part to the Twilight exclusive on ET  Did I miss anything good?

Wow I didn't get a chance to come on here at all today. Well not since like 9 this morning.
I had a birthday party to go to and it was pretty fun. Even though it was for an 11 year old. Lol.

Yeah so here's a warning. Rob is big. Like really big. I can only fit one eyeball at a time on my 8.9" screen. Haha.

Like I said, he's huge.
I love how he holds things.
He totally looks like he's singing to someone.
They talked about him on Extra. Stuff we've seen and some I had not seen.

Good morning everyone!

I, too, will be gone most of the weekend: 9 softball games - 3 kids - 2 parents ~ Caryn, by tomorrow night I'll be begging for some time in the "corner"!

But, first, Kristiner, I almost spit my coffee out when that "big" picture of Rob finally loaded! The first thing I saw was his ear!  But it was worth it when I got to his eyes! GAH!

I needed to get a hit of the Rob-crack before the insanity starts today, so I thought this one was cute...

and I just really like watching this one over and over and....

I will try to pop in tonight to say Hi~ I hope everyone has a great Saturday! 8-)
