Hi everyone. You guys are on fire with the posting today--I think I counted 4 pages since I left for work this a.m.
Julie--I'm enjoying American Idol this season. I think it'll probably come down to Matt and Adam in the finals. Adam is really interesting and talented, but his version of "Ring of Fire" was just a little too odd for me. I bet Johnny Cash rolled over in his grave when Adam performed that arrangement.
Matt and Chris are great and seem a little more versatile than Adam. I also love Allison's kick a** voice and think she has a ton of poise and composure for a 16-year-old. I do think this is the most talented group of 5 singers left at this stage of the game, as compared to previous years. Really... any one of them could win.
Sandy--glad you've started "The Submissive" and hope you enjoy it. Let me know what you think when you finish.
Caryn--hope you get through your rough week. Just retreat to your corner whenever you need to regain a little sanity.
Here you go...
Kristiner--hope you feel better and thanks for that "butt shot" of Rob. Is that Rob's underwear we're seeing riding just above the waistband of his jeans?
Oh, holy hell...
Anyway, just wanted to post part of this article from MTV about Rob's role in the upcoming Summit movie, Memoirs:
According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Memoirs" is the story of two star-crossed young lovers whose new relationship is threatened by a string of family tragedies. As they struggle to cope, their love is put to the test. It's familiar territory for Pattinson, who made his name in the star-crossed romance of "Twilight," and it will undoubtedly be a popular choice among his female fans.
The original script was penned by Will Fetters and is currently undergoing a rewrite from "Rachel Getting Married" scribe Jenny Lumet. Considering what "Rachel" did for Anne Hathaway's career, this might be the wisest career move Pattinson has made since agreeing to play the immortal Edward Cullen.
It sounds like a good choice for Rob, especially if the new screenwriter is as talented as she sounds. The article also mentioned that because this is a Summit film, they'll be able to work around shooting for "New Moon" and Eclipse". I was so bummed that "Parts Per Billion" didn't work out for Rob because of conflicts with New Moon, and I think it would have been a great role for him to delve into.
Apparently they haven't chosen a female lead for Memoirs yet, so I wonder if we should all audition for the role?
Anyway, it will be interesting to see who they cast as Rob's love interest and whether they will generate anywhere near the kind of chemistry I think Rob shares with Kristen Stewart.
Thoughts?
