I like what you said about Leah expressing herself artistically… I never really thought about that possibility, but, to be fair, the books don’t give much away about her character Things like whether or not she’s artistic, or whatever.
I’d be interested to see how your project turns out.
I don’t know for sure what sort of art Leah might experiment with, but maybe like Basquiat or Sylvia Plath like how you said… or maybe she’d be into surrealism, like those really great Dalí paintings.
This might seem weird, but I think if she really needed to like, purge her system of bad feelings, she might end up with something that resembles the art of Tara McPherson… really thought-provoking stuff, based on real issues, and everything that comes with that. Loneliness and vulnerability showing through her art would help her to become stronger, more comfortable and sure of herself.
I think she might also be into sculpture-type stuff, like metalworking. Really raw sort of stuff, but again, thought-provoking, y’know?

^ if that made any sense at all.

Oh, and no, Vanessa's not Leah. Where did you hear that? No, she's not. Thank goodness! Atleast I don't think so...she won't be seen at all in New Moon and I doubt they would cast Vanessa.

I was making little avatar things on picnik (facebook) of all the characters, and I looked up Leah, and there was a picture of Vanessa Hudgens! I thought WHAT THE HECK??? I LIKE LEAH!!! SHE CAN'T BE RUINED!!! Now I'm happy again. So, does anyone know who's actually going to be Leah in the movie?

So, about who is playing Leah… I heard the V.H. rumours, too, and yeah, I just about had a friggin heart attack.
Anyways, you’re right, Renesmee_Bella ^ other than Harry, the Clearwaters don’t make an appearance in New Moon.
however, the name going around the Eclipse cast list right now for Leah is Julia Jones – here’s a picture… and Click Here for the link to her IMDb profile.

Also, it says that Seth is being played by – I kid you not – Boo Boo Stewart.
