Perfect! Do you want to do it? I can, but I'm a little busy right now. If you have a photo manip program, then by all means, BAKE THAT CAKE!

I'm never too busy to stay up until 2:30 am for Twilight!

Suzan, this was your idea too, what do you think? I was thinking that freehand drawing and scanning might be faster as I do not have a great photo manip program, but do you want to do it, or make it a joint project?

I'd love to do it together. That was sort of what I had in mind, a joined Party Planning Committee gift.
Drawing might be faster, yes. I do know my way around Photoshop, but I've never done anything too complicated. Maybe if you draw some things and I try to put them together? Or do you think it would be easier to draw the whole cake?
I tried getting some ideas for the cake, because I couldn't really picture it. How about something like this but with more realistic looking animals? I also really like this layered one. I liked your idea about the themes as well. Do you think something like this would work for that and then have each layer a different theme?

I love collaboration - all of your pictures are great and none of them are what I was thinking of - but I like yours better! My fave is the second one with the waterfall, because it reminds me of the honeymoon waterfall scene in the movie version of Breaking Dawn, but I'm flexible. I think that more than one theme would be potentially confusing on a cake. I am attached to the idea of an African carnivore theme, because 1. I am a big fan of Openhome's Alice fanfiction, and her Alice's favorite meal is African lion, and 2. it goes so well with plane tickets to Africa, to go on safari. Renesmee is now nearly 4/roughly 12 years old, so it should be time for Edward and Bella to have a vacation to themselves ;) But again, I'm flexible.

I have been busy today so we are now very short on time. Shall I pm you some images, or how should we work this?

The waterfall was my favorite too and you're right about it being confusing to do multiple themes. So waterfall it is! :D
I love the idea of Africa and the plane tickets. Isn't Edward's favorite meal mountain lion? I'm sure that African lion or cheetah or whatever would tased delicious to him as well then. ;)
It is a little short notice now yes, but I don't really have a lot to do today and tomorrow. We'll see how far we get. Sure, pm me some stuff. It might be nice to keep it a surprise. Not that a lot of people will read this.
I will see what I can do already. I just thought of a potentially good idea for it. I'll pm you.

Btw: If someone else of the party planning committee is reading this and wants to join, I'm all for it!

Hi again! That cake is simply adorable.

I’m just popping in to remind you all that tomorrow is the BIG BIRTHDAY BASH! Please come and celebrate Edward’s 110th Birthday with us!

We are all SO excited to share our gifts with Edward and see what you’ve come up with!

You can come on and post your birthday wishes on one thread, and your gifts on another.

Remember, this year, you can post your gifts as images (make sure you link to the image, not the whole site) that will show up in the thread!

Also, you can post birthday cards / banners for Edward. Isn’t that wonderful!

If you want to post a picture of a gift, you need to do the following:
1. Make sure the image is smaller than 640 by 480
2. Post the link INSIDE the img coding you get when you push the img button. It should look like this . Again, link to the image only.
3. You need to preview your post first, to make sure it works right.
4. If the image is too big, just post the direct link for others to open.

To post your banner or card:
1. Just make your card / banner and make sure it is smaller than 640 across by 480 tall
2. Post it to an image hosting site (like DeviantArt or Photoshop) and then get the IMG link.
3. Paste the IMG link directly into your post, and voila! One super special birthday gift!

AND to make it a little more fun, Esme and I are judging your entries, so do your best!
Amazing how someone so tiny can be so irritating....

Cough. Cough. Ahem. Hello. I'm Kylee, and I would very much like to join the Party Planning Committee.
So, I'll just go ahead and answer the questions.

Do you have a nickname or something you would rather be called?
No, I prefer Kylee, thank you.

What career path do you want to follow here?
Either shopping or chef. I guess it depends on which one you would like to have another member in.

Why did you want to join Team Alice?
Alice is my favorite character in the series, so how could I not want to join Team Alice?

What is your favorite thing about Alice?
Probably her fashion sense. In the books, it just sounds like something that I would want to wear, and I love that.

Any favorite quotes from or about Alice?
Uhm... I don't think so.

Is there anything else you want to share?
Well, a while back, I was on the committee as kayAlicekay, but I lost my account information, so I decided to start anew. I'll try to be more active on this new account than I was on that old one.
So, if I can, I would like to get started on the committee right away.

Hi Kylee!
I'm going to post quick, cuz it's 3:10 am local.
Suzan and I are the only ones who've been active here at all lately, and we are relative newcomers, so if you are an old hand at this, you can step right in and fill us in on what's been done in the past. In the last couple of days, Suzan suggested elsewhere, and I agreed, that we should do a little something for the wedding anniversary on the 13th - so soon! Tell us what you think!
I am just more of a chef than a shopper - see my location. Hope to hear from you soon!

Hi Kylee! Good to see you back! Of course you can jump right back in. We could use you right now if we want to get a wedding anniversary party going. :D

Brenda, I didn't even realize it was the 5th anniversary. We definitely have to do something for that important milestone (although it probably doesn't seem like a long time for a vampire couple, hihi). Hmm, wood or silverware... Silver over here is a 25th wedding anniversary... Maybe some sort of little wooden statue to decorate their home... This is hard. don't know right now. Maybe if I sleep on it...

So let's go over the basics:
Date: The 13th is on Saturday, so maybe the whole weekend? Possibly extending to next week depending on people visiting later on?
Food: Any idea what you eat on a wedding anniversary with vegetarian vampires? Hihi. I guess we need a cake?
Do we need a theme or maybe a location or some decorations for the thread or music?
