((TLQWLOL!!! (trying to laugh quietly while laughing out loud) < that doesn't work very well. ))
((I'm supposed to be doing homework, and if I laugh my mom might get suspicious... homework isn't funny...))
((Well, actually it is, when you've discovered that the vocab list you got in English has a few spelling errors. ))

((I agree, we are all so weird. :D   ))

I was still combat practicing. After the first vision of dueling ended, I just switched to a different one, beating my opponent up again in my mind.

((     Haha you guys are so funny! Haha oh my *wipes tears out of eyes*))

"Let's go find Ana!" said Athena. I grinned and fell into step beside her.

"Do you think she can do it?" I suddenly asked. I had come up with this plan, but I was feeling a little shaky about it, what if it didn't work?

I could read the worry pouring off of Athena, but didn't try to read deeper. She sure didn't like being violated, I should know.

I looked at her to see the same scrunch in her eyebrows as was in mine...

((AH! We've totally died!!! This is TOTALLY NOT good!!!!! AHHHH!!!))_
((*sits in corner of thread to morn as she watches a tumble weed rolling around the deserted Volturi Castle*))

Once I got bored with combat practice, I left and started roaming randomly around the castle... Where was everyone? It was so... quiet...

(I was jut about to post this! lol Wanna join Beatrix and have a chat?? They do need to catch up)

Beatrix nodded and quietly left towards her room. She walked at human pace, a slow and calm pace. She had run enough for one day.
She remembered her way around the castle, even after all those years, every room and every corner were crystal clear in her memory.
Her feet led her to an ancient worn out wooden door in a southwestern corridor, just around the corner of a hidden internal garden. (I'm making this up!!!!)
She loved the scent of this place. It was the scent of the flowers in the garden... it was the scent of open air and freedom.
She gently twisted the rusty door handle, being careful not to shatter it with her abnormal strength. It was locked.
Luckyly, she'd always kept an extra key, hidden below a loose piece of the stone floor.
The key was just where she had left it. The door unlocked and squeaked lowdly as she pushed it open.
... She could have never expected what was waiting for her behind the door.

((IT'S SO DEAD!!))

I walked alongside Johanna looking for Ana. What if even Ana could not bring Santi back? I shivered; I would not enjoy having someone from the guard being killed by another guard member.

This had to work.

(Really dead. Matilda's at the mansion so I shall bring Demetri into play...and now!)

I tap the tip of the cigarette before crushing it altogether. I don't usually smoke but nostalgia hits once in a while. One of the few human memories I could recall of.
The bits fell to the ground in a elegant fashion as I took in the winter air.

Things were unexplicably quiet tonight.

(Do vampires smoke? *shrug*)

((Sure! Elena really hasn't met Beatrix in person yet. Of course she now knows snippets of Beatrix's past thanks to her power.))

I walked up and down the halls, not really caring where I was going. I wish there was something I could do... being bored let my mind wander... and wandering led to... depression... A dark wave of emotion swept over me, but I tried to block it so it wouldn't drown me. I knew it wasn't healthy to dwell in the past, but how could I when there was no light in my future?

Cardboard boxes, from floor to ceiling, from wall to wall. Beatrix raised an eyebrow... Sure, use the abandoned room for storage! How cliché... She couldn't wait to have some alone time in her old room, she missed it too much. She sighed, she'd better get a move on...
Organized as she was with everything, she started to make a mental list:
Step 1) Move all the boxes to the hall
Step 2) Get cleaning supplies and rub every bit of dirt in the room to bring it back to its old glory.

She was halfway through planning Step 3 and feeling extremely annoyed to have to do it all by herself when she heard real steps ecoing in the second hall to the left. (That would be Elena lol)

"Hello?" she called. A part of her getting her hopes up that she was getting some help in her new little enterprise.

"Hello?" a voice called. I recognized it as Beatrix, despite the fact that I had barely even talked to her.

"Hello?" I called, following the voice. Maybe getting to know Beatrix would give me something to do to keep my mind off of things. The voice led me to a dirty room with a bunch of boxes. Standing by a few of the boxes was Beatrix. "Oh, hi," I said, once I saw her. "We haven't officially met yet have we? I'm Elena." I gave her a small smile. Then looked around the room. "You know... there are a bunch of other rooms that require less work to set up... we can find one for you... Unless if you want this one."

I head back inside the castle. It's just as quiet as it is outside. The air smells of tar and smoke but it could be the cigarette I just smoked. I had a meeting with the masters in another hour which suggested that another annual inspection and possible execution was nearly for a very unlucky vampire. I wonder who they will choose to accompany Felix, Jane and I this time.
