I think its possible that the way they will keep Edward present in New Moon (even though he isn't) is maybe by showing quick flashes of what he is up to while away, aka South America, etc. That way, they will keep the huge draw of Rob in, while not changing the plot. Obviously they would be taking plot from texts other than New Moon, but I think it would be an efficient way to make it work. BTW I cannot wait for this movie!

Director. Catherine Hardwicke ruined the film. She should never be
able to Direct another film again.

The soundtrack throughout the film sounded like a cheap soft core
porno. Also, not only do they need more coverage (camera angles) but
they also need to invest in color correction. Also, since I am sure
Catherine will be directing the rest of them she needs to learn how
to direct her actors. If she is going to cast people just bc she
'worked with them before' and not on talent she need to learn how to
hide their bad acting. i.e. Nikki Reed
I think everyone else was casted perfectly. Alice: Ashley Greene was
perfect I can't wait to see more of her.
Edward: Robert Pattinson was exactly how I pictured Edward in the
book. I think Robert has true talent. I hope his career skyrockets! I
can't wait to see him in Little Ashes

I really hope that they don't kill New Moon like they killed
Twilight.

I love the books. I think Stephenie Meyer is amazing. I just wish
that she was the one who wrote the screenplay. Melissa Rosenberg
should have just been there to assist Stephenie in the writing of the
screenplay.

I wish they would have taken this low budget version to Warner Bros.
Pictures (or someone like them) let them buy it and produce a high
budget Twilight. That would have been bad Why are we talking about a donkey?.

I am sorry to those of you who are delusional and think this is a
good film. It looks like a student film. I think it could be so much
better. I had a lot of faith in this film. I wish they would have
waited for a larger budget. I hope that they don't give Catherine
Hardwicke full reign again. They can only get better right?

I hope Stephenie Meyer steps in and helps them with her vision. I
want her to push her ideas and visions of how this films should look.

Thanks for listening! :)
Not sure its a good idea to call people delusional lol.

I personally loved it. Yea...there were parts that were missing that I thought should have been in there but once I got past that I really really loved it.

So yea. this is my first post and I just want to say YAY NEW MOON!!! :D

I agree with all the people who want to see Chapter 4 as a voice over. To me, that just seems like thet best way to make us feel what Bella's going through. In the same way, I don't think that they should show flashes of Edward, because Bella doesn't even know where Edward is or what he's doing, and we're all feeling the same thing as Bella anyways.

I'm super stoked for New Moon, but something thats bugging me is that in Twilight, they barely developed their love story and just made it look fast and akward, and really just an infatuation. So, when Edward leaves her in the movie and Bella begins to break down and go into her little depression, I feel like it would be really unessesarily dramatic and un-flowy with the last movie. I dunno, it just might seem unbelievable to all the non-Twilight readers out there. I hope a new director and screen writer can fix that. :) They'll have to show a bit more dialogue with them in the beginning of the movie or something, or maybe flash back to scene in Twilight that we didn't know about where they bonded as a way to show why they both are feeling this way when they split.

It'll be easy to show how their love has grown at the beginning because of the birthday scene. :) There is happiness before the papercut...

I definitely think she looks too old to play the part.

Though she's technically about the right age she could easily play older...

I agree with everything you said! Yes, I think that Twilight was a little downplayed and they made the love between Bella and Edward a little awkward and fast, so people who have not read the books think that it's cheesy and weird. And plus, the movie does not nearly have the feelings as the book did. So in New Moon, I hope they won't depict Bella as just a love-struck teenager whose boyfriend left her and blah blah blah. I hope they will really show her deep emotions and sadness. I don't know how they will though because they can't stretch the style of New Moon too far from Twilight or they will seem like two completely different stories. But oh well, I really hope they fix it.

I LOVE looking at Rob, but I really don't want to see flashes of him wandering around while Bella is in her depression. This is written from her perspective, and she's under the impression that he honestly doesn't love her -- if they show flashes of him being depressed it's not going to be as emotional -- I want this to be as tear-jerking as possible, I love a good cry in a movie!! If they play his voice, as Bella hears him when she's riding motorcycles and runs into Laurent, I think it will be enough to get us through until we see him again -- and then the cliff diving scene, where she "sees" Edward's face and is telling him she loves him -- AHH!! So wonderfully emotional! And then when she sees him for real, and his face is so much more perfect than in her memory -- I'm crying already just thinking of it!! I NEED for them to do this right, I want my good cry!!!!

Why does it say release date of 2010?? I would think it'll be by next Thanksgiving or Christmas?!

I think that it'll be near new years or so, because Harry Potter is coming out in July, so they need time to exhaust all they can from HP until they can release New Moon.
