I've never been a Dakota fan. Fan... Fanning. Anyway, those eyes CREEPED ME OUT! So I never watched her in anything. Her new movie looks good, though. I can't remember what it's called. Push, maybe? Yeah, it looks good. I don't think I'd dislike her TOO much in the role. I would actually kind of prefer her sister, though

Oh well. I'm not sure how reliable the source is. *shrugs* So many rumors have been floating around...

Well, "creeps out" definetely is a requirement for Jane's role. She's a good actress. And she can be scary. So, for me, it works. Personally, I like Jodelle Ferland better. But she can put off. Besides, she's just been contacted, hot yet hired. Let's wait and see.Maybe she won't accept. She's used to do bigger movies, with bigger roles. Maybe it isn't her best interest a small role in New Moon. "shrugs"

Oh I love James Marsden! Ever since X-Men, and I thought he was SUPER in The Notebook, Hairspray + Enchanted. I want him to get some kinda part too!

I could totally see Dakota Fanning as Jane. Plus, since Push is also a Summit Film they are used to working together which is always a benefit.

Ohhh, James Marsden in hunky...but I can't think who he'd play.I don't see him as a Volturi. Wouldn't it be great if Melissa at least named the characters in the screenplay...oh oh what about Demetri!

Dakota Fanning is okay. I think that she is really annoying in War of the Worlds. But, Jane is annoying, so maybe she does fit the part.

Yeah on Dakota Fanning, I think she'd be excellent. She's like a young Drew Barrymore (don't mean looks just acting skills) Ever see Sam I Am???

Sam I Am was amazing, but for me that's the problem. I would constantly think of "Sam I Am" or "Uptown Girls", or something else I've seen her in, when I see Jane. She's a wonderful actress, but New Moon would be better off having unknowns or relative unknowns playing the Volturi.

^ I agree. The cast that we had for Twilight was fresh. We saw some of the faces in previous roles, but they were still relatively knew and unknown. I'd rather have an unknown for the part.

Leah isn't being cast. She's not in the NM script.
