I don't know if anyone has said this yet, but I think "Crawling" by Linkin Park. It's perfect for when she is riding the motorcycle. it talks about wounds not healing, fear is how i fall, and confusing what is real. it's perfect. plus, we need another linkin park song anyway. i loved the other one.

Ok so I was re-reading Eclipse last night with my ipod on and the song "Wake me up when September Ends" by Green Day was playing. I know that it has war references from the Video Clip.
But I thought it would really suit pages 83 -93 of New Moon.
When Bella discovers that the CD and the photos are gone. And how the months go by and about "waking up". Because some of the lyrics kind of suit it as well. For one the name and :
"here comes the rain again
falling from the stars
drenched in my pain again
becoming who we are

as my memory rests
but never forgets what I lost
wake me up when September ends"

Also during the song when they show the four months going by they should show Bella's heartbreak and the fit she throws when Renee comes to get her.

Wow, "holy crow", that song is kinda perfect for that moment in the book! Nice find!

I think this fits New Moon real good. I don't know if anyone has heard of Eyes Set to Kill? They have a really good song called Reach and it fits the part when she's trying to reach for Edward when he leaves her.

Here's the video.

Here's the lyric that stood out to me.

It hurts to reach you when I'm down.
And she was reaching for him but he left.

Hmm. I loved all of the music in the soundtrack for Twilight, it went so well with the movie. But.. I really like the song "Almost Lover" by A Fine Frenzy. I think it'd work for when Bella's all depressed. :D

I think that the song "Fix You" is perfect.

When you try your best, but you don't succeed
When you get what you want, but not what you need
When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse

And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone, but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

And high up above or down below
When you're too in love to let it go
But if you never try you'll never know
Just what you're worth

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

Tears stream down your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down your face
And I...

Tears stream down on your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down your face
And I...

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

It could be for Jacob about Bella, because he helps fix her. Or when Edward comes home, because it says "I promise you I will learn from my mistakes." It could work for either case.

yea, probably. cuz in twilight when bella was listening to a cd and it didnt tell us which one, stephenie said it was linkin park. but most of their songs fit perfectly with different parts of the books.

Not sure if you guys will agree with me on this, but I was listening to "The Widow" by The Mars Volta last night, and I could see that fitting in New Moon somehow, even if on the background.

The lyrics are very deep and dark, and some say it's about chemical dependency, which is even fitting somehow, since Bella is Edward's brand of heroin ;)

But the fact the he lingers in her memory when he leaves, although she's trying so hard to push those thoughts away, but not completely so that she will forget him, and how the pain of those thoughts throb through her body - that song kinda captures that a little bit, and the melody as well.

Here are the lyrics and a link for the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z16-LoZRFVo

He's got fasting black lungs
Made of clove splintered shardes
They're the kind that will talk
Through easing of coughs

And I hear him every night
In every pore
And every time he just makes me warm

Freeze without an answer
Free from all the shame
Must I hide?
Cause I'll never
Never sleep alone

Look at how they flock to him
From an isle of open sores
He knows that the taste is such
Such to die for

And I hear him every night
On every street
The scales that do slither
Deliver me from…

Freeze without an answer
Free from all the shame
Then I'll hide
Cause I'll never
Never sleep alone

Oh lord
Said I'm bloodshot for sure
Pale runs the ghost
Swollen on the shore

Everynight
in every pore
The scales that do slither
Deliver me from…

Freeze without an answer
Free from all the shame
Then I'll hide
Cause I'll never
Never sleep alone

Freeze without an answer
Free from all the shame
Let me die
Cause I'll never
Never sleep alone
"Does my being half-naked bother you?"
Yes, please take the other half off. xoxo
