Bella and Jacob don't kiss in New Moon. Plus, that song does not at all fit in with the alternative style of Twilight.

i just listened to that song and i must say no way... you forget that for the movie music is important, the mood that song creates, not lyrics... and the music in this song is way to wrong for that scene and for whole movie...

Yes I'm quite aware, I haven't at all forgotten. However, it's also possible to do alternate versions of songs (such as the acoustic version of the Paramore song in Twilight), and indeed there are multiple versions of this song as well. Plus, whole songs don't need to be used in the movie - sometimes it's just a few seconds even. The very last "I thought of just your face" line and the final few seconds of music was the main part I was thinking of that could be played just before she slips into the dark and Jacob gets her. Posting the whole lyric was just to show the similarity to the story for people who aren't familiar with it.

As far as I know, the JoBros haven't been offered anything. MTV just interviewed them and they said that they'd love to do NM.
Now I don't think they know anything about twilight or new moon period. They said that they'd heard that they were great books and that twilight was a great movie, but they haven't seen it yet. Do you think that CW would make an offer to them to write the song when they don't even know what the books and movie are about? Well, I hope not, but to me it just seems like a "duh!" kind of thing.
I wish that we could get an interview with CW just to see where he's planning to go with NM, because we're all so anxious!!!

I LOVE Leave Out All the Rest!!! It's one of my new favorites. I wish they would have saved it for New Moon though, it fits so much better.

And I am one of those people who will absolutely FREAK OUT if the JoBros are in NM.
