I have faith in him that he'll do a good job. The effects are stunning on the NM trailer, a huge step up from Twilight. I just hope come November i haven't built my hopes up yet again for me to be left disappointed. He seems to know what he's doing since The golden compass was really good so only time will tell....

I actually have a feeling that New Moon is going to be much, much better than Twilight. I liked Twilight, don't get me wrong. But the trailers for NM get my heart pumping like none other. It just seems to be put together a lot better. I'm so excited!!

After seeing NM I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo glad that Summit went with CW to do NM. He did a great movie that was faithful to the book, the special effects were awesome, and I felt like both Rob & Kristen did a better job in this one than Twilight. Now if/when they announce BD being made into a movie I hope that CW will come back & do that.

i agree. he understands the book so much better than Catherine Hardwicke. bring him back for BD!

His directing was soooo much better than Catherine's. He actually got the characters and the plot, and it was really just beautiful!

He didn't do a too bad job with this movie or Golden Compass but his best work is American Pie.

New Moon was more than I expected after Twilight... And CW did an amazing job...
I didn't like his worl in the goldan compass too... but I think he understood the problem, interpreated it, and did a better job in New Moon...

He did a good job directing NM. It has always been my least favorite among the 4 books but Cris Weitz did justice when he put it on the big screen.
