I've just seen the footage! The scene in Volterra was just perfect! But the other one was OK until Bella crashes the motorcycle and Jacob takes off the T-shirt like he was stripping or something, because, really, it looked like they wanted to make girls swoon. From then the scene was downright ridiculous to me...

Well, I've watched both the clips and I love them. In response to Jacob taking off his shirt, that is how it is written in the book, so its not like the writers have gone "let's get Jacob to take his shirt off just to make the girls scream." I think they have just stuck to what's in the book.

SPOILERS FROM SCENES AHEAD
I was disappointed that Bella saw Edward. I thought it would be good if the audience saw him but Bella didn't. I think it still may work, but it won't be the same.
I lovvvved the Volterra scene though!!!!! I wish I could understand Alice better, but I totally loved it!

I think it was totally necessary that they show the change in Jacob's body from mere human boy to werewolf. Actually, this 40 year old 5th grade teacher kind of liked that scene. OOOOLAAALAAA!!
I am okay with Bella seeing Edward. However, I think the effect would have been greater had it been a voice over instead. But, they were trying to give RP more play time in the movie.

I can honestly say that they can add as many scenes with Taylor shirtless as they want. I'm completely open to it.
