Hey!!!! Don't tell me to calm down! I get crazy sometimes!!! Really - didn't mean anything personal to anyone at all. I do not have those issues and I think everyone should be proud to be who they are...
now if I could only locate that Adam Lambert Rolling stone...
He could play Gale
then he could be gay in the hole.... oh well... too old really.
Sorry for freaking out my Hunger Games Friends!

You have NO IDEA. *dies of frustration* It's like, there's SO much I wanna say, but I also know how much it sucks to be spoiled (especially against your will!) so I have a vow of silence when it comes to CF (unless it's something really vague like "was it good?" or something along those lines. Anything more than that should be PM-ed to me, and there's no guarantees I'll answer, since I don't wanna give too much away
)
As for the whole race thing, I also think that it's just a matter of where in the country people live and that the socioeconomic level (<< big word!
) of the people in each district isn't really based on ethnicity or physical appearance.

CastMeNotAway, good idea. I'm definitely not going to spoil this for myself, even though I kind of want to.
When the book gets published, are you going to buy and read that copy? Things might have changed.
I don't think SC was being racist, just making differences between the richer and poorer parts of district 12. She is writing about a really different world where you might be divided depending on looks, but doesn't mean she belives that it's right. IDK.

let me clarify: I don't think SC means in any way to be racist, not do I think whe is racist.
I think she's an amazing author!

That's when it's coming out in the US.
Hmm...I'm going to google now.
One person said it's coming out a few days after the US release here (it's in the comments):
