Hey!!!! Don't tell me to calm down! I get crazy sometimes!!! Really - didn't mean anything personal to anyone at all. I do not have those issues and I think everyone should be proud to be who they are...

now if I could only locate that Adam Lambert Rolling stone...

He could play Gale :) then he could be gay in the hole.... oh well... too old really.

Sorry for freaking out my Hunger Games Friends!

You have NO IDEA. *dies of frustration* It's like, there's SO much I wanna say, but I also know how much it sucks to be spoiled (especially against your will!) so I have a vow of silence when it comes to CF (unless it's something really vague like "was it good?" or something along those lines. Anything more than that should be PM-ed to me, and there's no guarantees I'll answer, since I don't wanna give too much away :) )

As for the whole race thing, I also think that it's just a matter of where in the country people live and that the socioeconomic level (<< big word!  ) of the people in each district isn't really based on ethnicity or physical appearance.

CastMeNotAway, good idea. I'm definitely not going to spoil this for myself, even though I kind of want to. When the book gets published, are you going to buy and read that copy? Things might have changed.

I don't think SC was being racist, just making differences between the richer and poorer parts of district 12. She is writing about a really different world where you might be divided depending on looks, but doesn't mean she belives that it's right. IDK.

let me clarify: I don't think SC means in any way to be racist, not do I think whe is racist.

I think she's an amazing author!
