Sometimes people play hard to get to know that the other person's feelings are real.

Awww Marilyn! 10/10!

Yeah, it was from a story I wrote years ago. Fanfiction actually. Here lemme get another part of it. The climatic yay-everyone-is-happy moment. It's less of quote, but this is my favorite part that makes me chuckle and sigh. hee hee

"No, matter how many different ways I imagined this moment, I always knew what I wanted to say. I was never at a loss for words and I managed to say the right thing." He then lifted a hand and placed it upon her cheek, brushing his thumb across the soft surface, while his eyes gazed into hers.

“I'd lie in bed at night lost some where between day-dreaming and actual sleep thinking up the perfect words that would make you smile while your eyes would do that little teary-glistening thing--" his hand lifted from her cheek while he wiggled his fingers beside one of her eyes "--and then you'd say my name in this sighing voice before we kissed."

Fox tipped his head to the side as a knowing grin toyed with one corner of his mouth. "Of course, that's when the true fantasy would set in, because after that I would sweep you off of your feet, take you to the nearest bed and I'd make love to you. Then, you'd lie languorously in my arms, some where between completely satisfied and speechless, while praising me by telling me what a hot sex-God you think I am."

...

When their eyes were locked and their gaze unwavering, he finally told her, "I love you. I sometimes think I am unworthy to be in your presence let alone lucky enough to have shared my life with you thus far. I only hope I can continue doing whatever it is that I have been doing to keep me here with you."

"Fox," she breathed out on a shuddered sigh, as her eyes misted over with tears that had yet to be shed.

The corners of Fox's mouth lifted then, as he began lowering his head to Theresa's. "Yeah, that was the reaction I was going for."

Lame, I know!

Ok so I have no idea what Fox and Theresa went through, but they seem like such a cute couple. And HOT DAMN Fox sounds like my kind of guy! ;)

My parents asked me what my fall-back career was from Forensic Anthropology.
I said gravekeeper.
The dead are just FAR more interesting then the living -- and they don't talk back to you.

"John: Forever...?
Miriam: ...and ever." -- The Hunger

Possibly the three most powerful words from a vampire movie I've ever heard.
Three powerful words that in the end mean nothing. Anything with the tagline of: Nothing Human Loves Forever is going to be amazing.
OH dear! I'm going to cry for John now.

*Love of my life, my soulmate
You're my best friend
Part of me like breathing
Now half of me is left

Don't know anything at all
Who am I to say you love me
I don't know anything at all
And who am I to say you need me

Color me blue I'm lost in you
Don't know why I'm still waiting
Many moons have come and gone
Don't know why I'm still searching

Don't know anything at all
And who am I to say you love me
I don't know anything at all
And who am I to say you need me

Hmmm hmmm mmm
Uhhh oohhh aahhh
Hooo aahhh ohh ohhh

Now you're a song I love to sing
Never thought it feels so free
Now I know what's meant to be
And that's okay with me

But who am I to say you love me
And who am I to say you need me
And who am I to say you love me

Mmmm hmmm

I don't know anything at all
And who am I to say you love me
I don't know anything at all
And who am I to say you need me
I don't know anything at all

I don't know anything at all
I don't know anything at all
I don't know anything at all*

When one door closes another door opens; but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us.
