Hey everyone, I have so much catching up to do, but my ten year old niece was up visiting and she monopolized my time, not that I mind. I have her wanting to go see Twilight now but I don't think she's quite ready for that yet, I wish though I'm ready for her to be old enough for several movies and books.
Jello I noticed that when I was browsing. I don't like it very much because this past year I had surgery and health issues where soup and jello were my primary food for almost two and a half months. I'm hoping this year that I can avoid health issues that cause me to need to eat bland foods but thus far my body isn't cooperating so I decided it's time to go see an internal specialist to find out whats going on.
I didn't get a whole bunch of time off for the holidays but the time I did have was well spent and fun. Now I have to focus on work and attendance.
Everyone have a good rest of the weekend.

Re: Gutter Gals & Guys - Baking Peach Cobbler
Sorry guys I dropped off about a dozen pages back time just got sucked up. I am happy to report that our first doctor visit was a great success no problems what so ever everything looks good. They are concerned about the nasty T word it does run on both sides of the family and TwiDealer is the generation for it. They do have a ultra sound scheduled this week. I will keep you guys updated as we get news.
Something else I wanted to catch you up on I finished chapter one of my book. Everyone says it concludes in a logical place it also in their words "sets the stage very nicely." The bad part about letting my family read chapter one is that by the end of the night everyone was asking "So when do we get chapter 2?"
I have created monsters!
In addition to the story writing I also roughed out this story in a REAL outline although it is already strayed from there. The characters of a story really do lead you on their own not much thinking has to be done on my part I just listen and write it down.
I will not be sharing my chapters with anyone on the board sorry folks but my sister in law who is an author and owns her own publishing company advised against it...funny because originally she was like "yeah let other people give you feedback." Now that she had read chapter one she is like "Keep this just in the family and keep working on it this is really good." She also has my rough draft outline which made for a fun ride to the store today because she kept asking me about different things she really wants to know "HOW DOES THIS ALL END!"
Anyways that's my update if you need me for anyone PM me as I will most likely not be on again for another few days.
Misfit.

Wow, Misfit and Thundra both made appearances. The planets must be aligning or something major in the universe!
Very lazy weekend around here since all but one of FS's really important applications were submitted by Friday. He's got one more significant one and about four more back-ups to do. They're non-football schools.
Thanks to you guys who e-mailed, texted and PM'd me your support. Yes, LG's surgery is tomorrow morning. I've been letting him have as much movement and fun as I could knowing he's going to be slowed up for the next several weeks. I let him spend the night last night at a friend's house who's going to bring him to church this afternoon. Tonight it's a bath and bedtime. We'll be on the road by 9:00 am. It's supposed to be about a three hour surgery, starting at 10:30 on three different sites. I'll text some of the vamp gals and they can let you know how it went. LG was really on-board with the whole thing when he saw the surgeon last month, but as the date has gotten closer, he's been angry about it. *sigh* He'll have matching four inch scars on both knees now. I think they can reuse an old scar on his foot.
QOTD: Have you ever taken dance lessons?
I'm going to trust someone else to do the PSD today, I've gotta run and get dressed for church. I'll be back later though to see who you picked out!

NiMa, we'll all be thinking of you and FS tomorrow.
Misfit, again, congratulations on your fantastic news. You'll have to keep us posted on the "T" situation. Also, that's great about you writing a book. Can't wait to buy it someday and read it.
QOTD: Have you ever taken dance lessons?
Yes, I took square dancing in gym class in high school and i took belly dancing three years ago. Belly dancing is crazy hard, especially when you have a huge belly and haven't done anything physical in a million years.

QOTD: Have you ever taken dancing lessons?
I was about to say no to this, but I realized I did twice. The first time I think I was six or seven I took Tap and Ballet. That didn't last for to long because I didn't like it very much, and my mom let me quit after I complained for long enough
The second time I took Cotillion. That wasn't as bad as Ballet and I learned how to do dances like the Foxtrot, Tango and some of the other formal ones, but if I had to try those today I'm not sure I could that was along time ago.

QOTD: Have you ever taken dancing lessons? Oh, Nima, you've got me reminiscing. I took ballet when I was 3 or 4 for a year or 2. I don't remember any of it, but my mom has cute pictures. The dancing I do remember I miss. Even before I took lessons, I could follow pretty well, and a friend and I used to dance (swing, waltz, 2-step, etc) at these community dances and high school dances. Then, when I went to college, I wanted to learn more, so I took 2 semesters of ballroom dance. I love swing, cha-cha, waltz, all of it. Then, I married a guy who doesn't (and won't) dance. I haven't been since the night we got engaged. (And that was a church dance activity, not "real" dancing.) I miss dancing. (Did a bit of dancing as a cheerleader, too, but we won't go there.)
And Nima, I'll be thinking of you and LG all day tomorrow, along with a few prayers. Good luck.

Vampman... your just a regular old Bella aren't you???
QOTD, Have you ever taken dance lessons? When I was really little I took Ballet and Tap dancing classes. My parents remind me that when all the little girls spun one way, I went the other LOL. I knew from a very young age that this was not a gift I was given. As close as I like to get to dancing now is Jazzercise. Go 80's!!! It's actually great workout and fun also.
Misfit... keep us posted... I love T's so you get no sympathy from me, but still I wish you and twiDealer perfection.
NiMa! Prayers and a smooth surgery for LG. Dang, you have been through a lot since I have met you.
Happy Sunday Y'All!!!

Misft- I'm glad everything went ok with the doctors. I'm very excited to hear about your writing. You sure got a great teaser.
Let us know when it's done so we can read it.
N'mama- I hope everything goes smoothly for LG tomorrow. I'll keep you all in my prayers.
Lady Di and Spooky- I hear you gals. I'm not looking forward to getting up at 6 am tomorrow. It'll be my first day student teaching. My stomach has been in knots all day today. Thank the gods for the smut to cause some distraction.
QOTD: If we're not counting dancing in your room with a hairbrush singing along to the radio...then no. I haven't taken any dancing lessons at all.

Nima, you and FS (and the doctors and nurses) will certainly be in my prayers tomorrow. Please let us know (or one of the Vamp Girls) how everything goes/went. With this looming tomorrow, I'm glad you've had a peaceful weekend together!
Congrats Misfit glad the doctor visit went well. Please keep us posted on the possible "T" situation. I'm excited for your novel, let us know when we can start pre-ordering!
QOTD: I've had TONS of dance lessons. I started in ballet at 2 (I think). I took dance classes up until high school when I finally stopped to play sports. I did ballet, tap, jazz, RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) and was in numerous performances/garden ballets. It was fun. In junior college I did some ballroom dancing (thanks to a friend who was a teacher) and that was fun too. Like others, my hubby doesn't like to dance so no swinging or grinding, however he always asks to slow dance with me at weddings and other functions. He is a romantic...it's just hidden deep, deep, deep, deep, deep, deep down inside.
For Nima and all you gutter gals, I give you a PSD: This is Ash's Midwest Crew of Dark Hunters!!
And for our gutter guys, these were labeled the bond girls, however I think they could be female dark hunters. They do look unhappy....like they sold their soul or something.
