QOTD: Name five obscure songs for which you know all the words.
Oh my goodness! Obscure is relative! I can't think of single songs; how about I list 5 ALBUMS to which I know all the lyrics? When I get a new CD, I listen to it until I have it memorized.
1. Fallen by Evanescence
2. The Open Door by Evanescence
3. Dreaming OutLoud by OneRepublic
4. One of the Boys by Katy Perry
5. Closer by Josh Groban (minus the foreign language ones)

Bonus question: Name your five favorite movie soundtracks.
This one is so easy!!
1. Pearl Harbor
2. Schindler's List
3. Harry Potter, OotP (because it's the only one I have; I'm sure if I had the others, they all would be on my list)
4. Titanic
5. Twilight

Oh wow, GNE! I truly hope that the area officials are able to get everything up and running soon. There's a long road ahead for some of these people. You are indeed lucky to have relatives nearby who can take you in.

Geez. My first name is Sarah, plain and short. I love my name! "Sarah with an 'h.'" How hard is it to mess that up??? When people would write it, it would be "Shara," or Sahra, or "Sarha." Come on! Is it so bad of me to say that I love my maiden name MORE than my married name?? My maiden name is Italian and unique; I always had to spell it for people, and they weren't always polite about it. It was so nice when someone would see it written (a new doc, or clerk at the store) and pronounce it correctly!! I'd tell them they win the gold star for that, because NO ONE gets it right! When I got married, I was a little relieved to think that I wouldn't have to spell my last name for people, as hubby's was very common. Boy, was I wrong!!

I worked in Day Care for 5 years and came across some strange names. The winner was Ja'Cacees, pronounced Juh-casey. His mother was adamant about my labeling all his items with the correct spelling. There was a baby named Howard, and we called him Howie. There was an Italian baby named Anthony that we called Tony. There were a few Kamryns; an Olivia whose parents called her Livvy; a Jackson who was NOT to be called Jax or Jack for short; a Dylan, Dillon, and Dylon; Taylor, both boy and girl; and then there was Fernando, whom I kept calling Ferdinand- I don't know why.

Obscure songs, hmmm, I don't think I will be very good at this question:
1. So this is love-Cinderella and the Prince
2. Sing-The Carpenters
3. The Brady Bunch theme song

I'm already stuck. No obscure songs for me. I can sing along to them, but I don't think I could sing them without the music playing with me---Fascination by Human League, Come On Baby by the Wonders (hehee), One Last Kiss by Conrad Birdie (heehee)...I am really nerdy when it comes to music. Oh well, I guess it isn't my forte.

Movie Soundtracks:
1. That thing you do
2. Twilight
3. Last of the Mohicans
4. Barbie the Princess and the Pauper (I know I am ridiculous, but I really liked it)
5. The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, and other various Disney movies.

Funny question Nima - I like it...
I know all the words to:
Crazy for you - Madonna
The theme from Gilligan's Island (I did this for a lipsync contest in my speech class in 10th grade)
Baby Got Back - Sir Mix-a-lot
Laid - James (not too obscure)
Every Little Counts - New Order

Soundtracks (in no particular order):
Twilight
Sleepless in Seattle
City of Angels
Singles
The Little Mermaid
Honorable Mention to:
Veronica Mars (TV soundtrack)
Rattle & Hum (U2 did have a movie with same name)
Grease - who can resist??

I also like a lot of the instrumentals like Glory, Last of the Mohicans, Braveheart, LOTR. I loved Titanic in the 90's but got a little sick of it! I should pull it back out now that it's been a while.

Fantastic QOTDs today, Nima! I like your addition, SuperTwin! This is too much because I have WAY too many favorites...these are not in any particular order but what popped out first as I scrolled through my Itunes.

QOTD #1: Name five obscure songs for which you know all the words.
1. "Turned Blue" by Caroline's Spine
2. "Send me a Song" by Celtic Woman (Lisa Kelly)
3. "Finland Song" by Monty Python
4. "El Manana" by Gorillaz
5. "Gimme Gimme Gimme" by A Perfect Circle

QOTD #2: Name your five favorite movie soundtracks
1. An American Werewolf in Paris
2. Twilight
3. 1776
4. The Phantom of the Opera
5. O' Brother Where Out Thou
5. A Good Year

QOTD #3: Entire CD's you know by Heart
1. Films about Ghosts & August and Everything by Counting Crows
2. Garbage by Garbage
3. Fallen & The Open Door by Evanescence.
4. Symphony by Sarah Brightman
5. The Final Cut and The Division Bell by Pink Floyd
6. Undertow, Opiate, Lateralus, Salival by Tool
7. Celtic Woman by Celtic Woman
8. Requiem by John Rutter
9. Prelude by Charlotte Church
10. Sixteen Stone by Bush
11. Ultimate Broadway #2 by Various
12....I could go on but I'll stop here.

Not only this shows how eclectic I am with music but I like BlueStarlight will listen to a CD over and over until I have it memorized. I don't know why, most likely because I like to sing along and when I have a new CD, it takes a lot for me to get sick of it.

My maiden name is misspelled or mispronounced...I don't think it is that difficult but what do I know - I was raised from birth knowing how to say and spell it!
I am the Impulsive VampVixen.

I would like to add Bust a Move, O Brother, and Garbage to my list of memorized songs/CD's.

My media player is on my computer. I hadn't updated my MP3 player in a bit, so I'm kinda bored with it since I listened to it so much last week. I also had no CC on it.

I'm so desperate for music (CC especially) that I have the MP 3 player on my phone going! I love my razr.

I would listen to my playlist from playlist.com but I tried yesterday and it froze the pc. My playlist is playlist.com/gne, if anyone is interested.
