POISON STUDY!

Choose: A quick death...or a slow poison...About to be executed for murder, Yelena is offered an extraordinary reprieve. She'll eat the best meals, have rooms in the palace - and risk assassination by anyone trying to kill the Commander of Ixia. And so Yelena chooses to become a food taster. But the chief of security, leaving nothing to chance, deliberately feeds her Butterfly's Dust - and only by appearing for her daily antidote will she delay an agonising death from the poison. As Yelena tries to escape her new dilemma, disasters keep mounting. Rebels plot to seize Ixia and Yelena develops magical powers she can't control. Her life is threatened again and choices must be made. But this time the outcomes aren't so clear...

^^ That sounds good.

I just finished "Tim, Defender of the Earth," and I thought it was good. I'm about to start "Angels and Demons," soon.

I finished Tangled Webs this weekend and the last novel in the series (so far...I hope she continues to write) The Shadow Queen by Anne Bishop - her Black Jewels series. I really enjoyed this series, I felt the writing was solid, the characters and plot have a very down-to-earth and real feeling even though it is a fantasy world. Definitely would recommend this to anyone!

Now I'm starting a book a friend recommended called Lonely Werewolf Girl by Martin Millar.

That series is AMAZING! I love it! Cuz there's plenty of action, with just a touch of romance, not enough to distract you from the true story line, but very cute. I prefer the action, its pretty epic. You'll love it.

I'm reading The Other Wind by Ursula K Le Guin.

Poison Study would be a good book for you to read.
And so would Bloodhound, but that's the second book in the series.
Terrier is the first book to the Becka Cooper series.
