I had to do a simple thing today, stand up in front of the class for Toast and give my evaluation of a girls speech...., what did i do??

okay i know this is so random.... but then again this is the randomness thread!

so this might get a little dicey as i'm kinda bringing religion into this BUT i'd like to make it very clear i'm not telling anybody what to believe, i'm merely explaining why this annoys me so!

right so on tv programs, like the one i'm watching now, have you ever seen like oh someones pregnant or like someone just thinks they are and they're all like oh i'm not doing that (raises eyebrows meaningfully) with anyone and then the other dude is like oh so its the immaculate conception then?! or i'll give you another example i saw on prison break--->

mom: so your dad wants to talk to you

random moany kid: i have no father

mom: trust me, it wasn't an immaculate conception

right so mom was saying that he obviously has a father because basic biology declares she would need at least one guy there during the making of said moany kid... anyway she was refering to the fact that catholics believe that mary was a virgin when she had jesus BUT that is wrong cos when catholics talk about the immaculate conception they're not talking abouk bout the whole mary virgin thing AT ALL, they're talkiing about the fact they believe that mary was born without the original sin thst everyone else is born with!! i know its weird that it annoys me so much but they do it on sitcoms and places so often and its like if you're gonna make referencces to religion at least make right references!!
anyway the reason i'm telling y'all is cos some of ye may become writers some day and i would just like to ask you not to make that mistake!

i'm really bored and this is the randomness thread so i thought i'd come on here and be a bit random.

once upon a time there was a pretty little mermaid. this mermaid loved to swim and one day she swam all the way to fiji where she met this amazingly gorgeous merman who was also half vampire.
they fell in love and lived happily ever after despite the fact that he craved her mermaid blood.
