I had kept him company. I had been talking for what seemed like hours while he painted. The occasional question or encouragement to continue escaping his lips. I had covered multiple topics ranging from the latest pair of shoes I wanted to buy to a couple of the guys I had dated before I had met him.

"I'm ready for a break. What about you?" I looked up at Gio and nodded. "I feel like swimming." I knew he would too. He was always up for a swim. "Give me a few seconds to change." I ran upstairs and found a suit to wear.

It is a swimming pool. It isn't that deep. Gio is right beside you and won't let you fall.

I kept repeating this in my head as I felt Gio's hands under my body. "Relax." I took a deep breath and shut my eyes. My body floated to the top of the water. "Straighten your body." I barely moved so my body was laying flat. "Not stretch out your arms. I shook my head in protest and I heard him laugh. "Roxy. I won't let you go." My arms tentatively left my side, one stretched out the other clutching onto Gio. One of his hands left my legs and I dug my nails into his arm. "Ow." I didn't pay attention. His hand pried mine off him and he moved it so it was extended like the other. He put his hand back under my legs. I relaxed slightly knowing I was safe again.

I focused on nothing but Gio's hands. They were my security for the moment. Neither of us moved until Gio's hands left my body. I got startled and moved and was soon under the water. He grabbed me and pulled me up.

"What were you thinking?! You said you wouldn't let me go." His eyes were apologetic as he lifted me back into position. "I thought you were ready. I'm sorry." I made sure I could feel his hands before relaxing completely. It was peaceful like this. I could hear the water and all the sounds around me. I felt the need to sleep.

My eyes opened and I could see the sun, all bright and brilliant. I inhaled deeply and really relaxed.

"So what do you think?" I smiled. "This is wonderful." That is when I noticed that I couldn't feel him next to me. I turned my head slightly and he was about a foot away from me with a goofy grin on his face. "How long?" I was a tiny bit annoyed that I hadn't noticed he had moved. "Just a couple minutes." I saw him start to float next to me. "This is great isn't it?" I grabbed his hand and we floated together.

*peeks head in shyly* Hope i'm not interrupting anything...Ummm...Can i join the familia? *purple hair falls into eyes* Should help that i'm more than halfway Italian. *broad grin* Sounds like fun.

hello newbie! I'm Maria!

Scarlett lye curled up in a ball on the couch.
She had been rahter paranoid for a while.
Thinking he would come back sometime.
Come back to kidnap her.... and make her life once again miserable.
WAR walked into the room and sat down near Scarlett.
"Hey sweetheart, what's wrong?" He asked her kindly.
She looked up at him. "I'm just... so nervous." She replied, shaking a bit.
"Yeah. I know. Come here, let me see you." He said, pulling her towards him gently.
She sniffled, she could't cry, but she still felt the emotions that crying had.
