I really hope it doesn't suck. :(

Well done, Amanda!! The "scene" was suspenseful, intense and as a whole tinged with sadness, and joy. You did an excellent job of conveying it all. I was glad that Renesmee finally "got it".

You did great!

***TPC DISCUSSION...SPOILER ALERT!!***
Kudos Amanda Beth! Wonderfully written!
Renesmee finally realized how childish she was being and gave Bella the respect she deserved! Her heart and mind finally caught up with her physical body. I absolutely loved it...and cried...when Renesmee hooked her finger into Bella's belt loop like she did when she was little. Such a sweet way to say, "I'm sorry...I forgive you...I love you." Then later, she adds words to her actions and makes it all completely right.
Sam's death was hard, but completely right for the story. People die in a war...sad, but inevitable.
So...What happens now that the "law" has been vanquished? Will the vampires still keep their existence secret from humans? What will keep the vampires that feed on human blood from running completely amuck? Hmmmm?? The Cullens don't want power, but even vampires need some type of rules...don't they? ;)

A Monday morning tip for fanfiction writers: Don't rely too heavily on Spell Check.

I have shutters on every window of my house.

When someone touches me, I might shudder.

When a woman moans, she utters a noise.

Cows' milk comes from their udders.

The difference one little consonant can make is amazing. It's the difference between captivating your reader or making her howl with unintended laughter.

Now go have a great writing day!

lol. Word mix-up's like that are usually a-okay with me. I typically "get" what somebody means. But most situations are not so clear cut. I know if somebody's body "shutters" they mean "shudders."

Now I'm going to have to double check my word choices... lol.

Don't forget stutters.

Case in point- one woman in healthcare, who specialized in dealing with new mothers, gave a seminar on breastfeeding. She used spellcheck and printed out fliers. When the day arrived, and she handed them out, she was puzzled as to the looks of horror on the new mothers' faces.

Turns out, her spellcheck corrected the title page to read "Beast Feeding for New Mothers." ;)
