Happy Tuesday, Everyone!

Hope you're all doing well!

Dawn - Wasn't the Meet and Greet with Peter last weekend? Tell us all about it. When's your birthday? I want to complete my Halfway House Sisters birthday list.

Jaclyn
- I will see ALL the Les Mis performances because that's the kind of mom I am and plus it's like magic to me and I can't stand the thought of missing one performance - it will be so quickly over. I saw it three times last weekend and will see it 4 more times this coming weekend, which will make 7.

Raine - Sorry you've been sick! for starting Water for Elephants! Let us know what you think.

Marielle
- Did your parents go to Carnaval too? Sorry you feel so sore today. You'll have to take a hot bath tonight.

JennJenn
- I'm sorry you feel sick! Take it easy. I'm not sure if Walmart carries VF....

Caryn
- Clicking a link in a post - oh you must have done a quote then? You're driving north for a training - I can't help but be reminded of the Rob fanfic I wrote for you! Have a safe trip because Rob is busy right now filming BD in Vancouver. We'll try to survive without you here for a bit. The final Javert song - Yes, that's pretty dramatic, especially the first time when you're totally surprised by the plot twist. Our Javert has a lovely rich baritone voice. I've gotten to love Drink With Me- it's so poignant. Thanks for the tip on Miss Saigon. I've only heard a few numbers - I should definitely listen to the whole thing.

Tracy
- That song Little Fall of Rain - when Eponine is dying - the girl playing that part is basically a professional actress - she's done lots of professional stage theatre in the Twin Cities, but she is indeed a student at the school, so that's totally fair!! Anyway - her voice is good, but not as powerful as it could be, but her acting is absolutely fabulous in that scene when she's dying. The audience is so quiet you can hear a pin drop. Bring Him Home is the one of Jean Valjean's songs where the audience is completely awestruck. I like our guy better than the pro!! You said you like that Javert song - That's "Stars" I like our guy's performance better! He has a richer voice. (I'll have to tell him that!)

Tonise
- I understand that you're too busy for mega posts - but I'll look forward to their return this summer! (or maybe even Spring Break?)

Christina - I'm so proud my little Orlando girls get together so often!! Hey - when is your birthday? I have almost everyone else's...

Desiree - I don't have your birthday either...When is it?

I've got to get some work done now!

See you later!

Susie and everyone, I am so sorry. I was so tired the next day I forgot that I didn't write about seeing Peter. Well I went with a couple of friends and my daughter. We also saw another girl there and waited on line with her. We got there later this time because we signed up to give blood and that didn't start until 10. You are to go at 5 or 6am if you want to be the first ones. I have done that with my daughter, but not this time. So Peter had a private meet and greet with about 20 people and we were on line right across from the door so we got to see him go in and out of the room. It is always exciting when you know they have arrived. We waited about 4 hrs. He was very nice and pleasant. He was thanking everyone and I am not a hugger and he made sure he extended out for a hug and I have to say I might have been crazy enough to give Rob back his signature, (on my little girls letter to him), but who am I to refuse Peter a hug. I learn from my mistakes. So he made sure he hugged everyone. We took our pic with him and since I am not a hugger I know I must have been far from him because he was just pulling me in. I have to laugh. If I post it on facebook I will let you guys know so you can friend me if you want or if someone knows how I can post it. I will try. My picture with Kellan and with peter my head is up. Next time I have to make sure my head is even. Anyway, you don't care about that. ha ha. So we got off the stage and I forgot to thank him for being such a big part of Alex's Lemonade Stand and making me aware of it. I wanted him to know that I was looking for a charity to do with my daughter and the ones I would think of ended up not being good for her age. This was perfect. so anyway, my daughter was doing really good we walked around and we had to stay there until 4 because they were picking a name out of the blood donors for a dinner with Peter. I decided I wanted to get our picture signed. It was a nicer one then the yr. before so we got on line again since we had to be there and the line was not even a 1/4 the length. We get up there and I spit out what I wanted to say and I had to tell him I love Nurse Jackie and we talked about that for a little what season it is on and when it is coming out.

We had a great time. He was very nice, but I felt bad he looked so tired this time. It took two seconds to see that he was tired. He is truly a nice guy because he doesn’t have to fly across country to raise money for Alex’s Lemonade stand or for himself, but he does it for the fans and I think that is great. I think that really shows what a nice person he is.

My birthday is 9/26/73 oh, did i write 73 I meant 83. lol

Can someone tell me where to see everyone's name?

Sandy - Hi there! Come back when you can!

Dawn - Thanks for the report of meeting Peter. You are so lucky! I've only seen him from afar.'73 or '83 - I don't get it! '73 is still very young! '58 was a very good year.... Lots of REALLY nice people were born then....

Hi ladies~

This may not be news to those of you who've read the Vanity Fair article, but here's a neat picture of Rob jamming with the world famous Preservation Hall Band in New Orleans.

It's an outtake from the Vanity Fair magazine, so I don't know whether this particular picture was in the magazine itself. The link to the story (from the front page of the Lex) mentions how the band members were impressed with Rob's talent, and realized he could really play. :D That's our boy!
Here's the article

I'll check back in later tonight. The kids are working on their homework, and I've got to take my daughter to her first practice for her AAU basketball team at 5:30 p.m. We'll see how it goes....

Catch you later!

Good luck to your daughter on her first AAU basketball practice today! I'm sure she will do great :D

Today at work I volunteered to come into work early for the next few days (and then again for 4 weeks in a couple weeks) bright and early to start a new experiment. I also said I would stay late some days too, as it runs for a long time every day. I will be knackered most likely! So I need to be at work and all set up by half7 tomorrow...will need to leave the house super early. Wish me luck!! Haha!

Anyways, I'm away off to read for a while before sleeping.
See ya all tomorrow!

I'm so glad I checked in!

Jaclyn!!! It is so cool that you got both Action Rob and Vanity Fair on the SAME DAY!!! WhooHoo! Loved all the cute photos you took. I showed hubs and he was duly impressed. Especially by the Haggis, neeps and tatties!!! I'm sure you'll do fine getting up early for that special experiment. Is it a radioactive experiment? :? Yes. Hubs has seen Les Mis, but only once last weekend and he will see it twice this coming weekend.

Lulu - You'll have to get on the list to get Action Rob - unless you already are? I might not be clear on it. I think Tracy gets him for April... I'll have to find the list in my 100's of posts..

Tracy
- Thanks for that photo of Rob playing REAL piano. Caryn is just going to die with that one. Notice the jawporn? Hey, how do you handle dinner when bball practice is at such an awkward time - I have the same thing with circus sometimes and then when Sonny Boy has to report for the show at 5:30.

See Ya!

Hi Everyone, I am posting again in one day. Wow. I got the kids to bed early. Yeah. does that make me a bad mom? Sometimes I just need my down days. I actually got a lot cleaned. But I have been on the computer a lot too.

Your welcomed everyone that liked my story of meeting Peter. Usually my stories are a lot longer. My son was trying to type on the computer so I was trying to type fast, but I think I got the important things. My husband actually thought he would go, but then I told him he would be waiting for three hours. He didn't like that. I guess he liked the idea of it, but didn't want to put the time in.

Susie- I always joke about the year I was born. I always so I count up a couple of yrs. and then I go backwards. I actually thought I was 38 this yr. My heart actually dropped for a couple of sec. because I was like I am 40, but then I got over it and a couple days later my husband told me I am 37 or I figured it out talking to him. Whichever one. I think it is funny. I like to see if I could make myself forget. I don’t think age doesn’t really matters. Although, it is weird I see people on tv that I watched when I was young and think they age so much faster then what I see myself as aging, and then I told my husband I looked at my passport yesterday and I said to him I look so young. I asked how many yr. ago did we get the passports done. I thought 10 or 12 yrs. ago and he said 8. Now I know I am def. ageing.

Open fire- that is funny. I love it. Action Rob.

I know they say the 17th is going to be the Premiere. There was a little rumor otherwise, so I am just keeping myself open to the possibility of them changing. I know probably unnecessary. I don’t expect to see Rob. Not up close or not as close as I have seen him at the today show. A arm and a half away. At the Harry Potter Premier they didn’t hand out bands so the girls I knew that got there first kind of got pushed out of the first spot. I think it is more like you line up in a row and they don’t know who was there first. But anyway I will be sure to report. I wish I had the internet on my phone. Maybe I will get it for the month. I just renewed anyway so it isn’t like it will really start my contract over.

Hey girls... letting you all know I'm home safe and plumb knackered. I had to leave the house before 6 this morning and got home around 8:30. I'm going to snuggle in with some fanfic and just let the day melt away... after I check the Butler score.

Jaclyn~ YAY!! I'm so glad it arrived safe and sound. The lady at the post office thought I was bonkers wrapping a magazine in bubble wrap... until she noticed the cover!! Turns out she's quite a fan and laughed when I told her I could not chance all the RobLoveliness getting harmed by rain. :o  Enjoy, sweetie.

Susie~ Oh, I did in deed go a little witless in the face of the outtake of Rob playing with the band. That is soooo awesome! Of course, I love even more that he thoroughly impressed the members of the house band with his skills. *sigh* Such a talented man, our Rob.

To the rest of you, *hugs*. I'll chat at you tomorrow. I'm so glad I won't miss Hump Day!
