yeah i definetly agree in the first hospital scene his face was like covered in powder!
but in the other scenes like the baseball one and when Bella first meets the Cullens its not so bad.
but he was definetly a great father figure.
although he was supposably 23 in the book when he was bitten...

I'm not saying it was bad that he didn't look 23, he definetly didn't. Just saying wasn't Carlise sopposed to be? Idk I really liked him I thought he was great.

I thought he was excellent, really getting into his character. His portrayal was just great, and as true to the book as he could have managed (I mean he's not 23)
I loved the baseball scene were he held his bat up to the camera, it was great shot

I thought he looked about 25. I asked all my friends how old he was, they coudn't beleive he was 35. The movie wanted a older actor to play Carlisle, so he would look wiser.

I'm glad they casted someone who was maturer. I never did imagine Carlisle as a twenty-three year old. He seemed way too wise and all knowing. I know he's a vamp, but still . . . it didn't fit in my mind.

LOL!! A-MAN-DUH!!! I just love that movie, I was 13 when it came out!

Other than my feelings on Can't Hardly Wait, I absolutely loved Peter as Carlisle. He was perfect and yes, there was too much make up in the hospital, BUT, he took my breath away when he walked through those double doors! I literally gasped! Oh how I love Carlisle.....

He was FANTASTIC and when your Edward is actually 22 in real life, you need a slightly more mature guy playing the father figure... It was cool seeing him in this sort of role... I always think of him from six feet under or can't hardly wait (both of which are AMAZING) - - - - but he was so good in this movie!!! i think one of my favorite's is when bella comes to the house and she says "i become the meal" and he has this little laugh... it's so cute!!!!!! jennie garth is a VERY lucky lady to snag this man!

Peter was just so amazingly beautiful when he walked into the scene at the hospital that, I swear, EVERYONE in the sold out theater GASPed in unison & then started screaming! It was hilarious, but distracting, as it was hard to hear what was being said during that scene. lol I had to see the film twice just because I couldn't hear most of it from all the screaming everytime a new character walked into the scene, but it was fun!

OMG.
the perfect person to play Carlisle.
Everything about him just screams " unbearably gorgeous immortal vampire doctor!"
And personally i think Peter looks better as a blond.
