I've been thinking about this a lot lately and I came up with several suggestions for actors. What do y'all think?

Aro - Jeremy Sisto would be great for this role! I've seen some of his work where he's able to come across as just this cruelly evil guy. They type who could run over your dog and smile at you as he's doing it.

Caius - maybe Joaquin Phoenix? I just love him and think he could pull off the role of Caius. While he's not so present in New Moon, think about the future if they make BD. Think to the scene where Caius destroys Irina. Pretty mean dude.

I've said for a long time that I thought Dakota Fanning should absolutely play the role of Jane. I think she's a talented young actress who is capable of playing a range of emotions.

Felix - maybe Taye Diggs? I love Taye Diggs and think that he could pull off the friendlier of the two deadly Volturi guards.

You know what? I love who you picked!! I always pictured the Volutri much much older... but the actors you picked can totally pull of the look.

Oh I love Joaquin Phoenix as Caius. He was totally deranged and creepy in gladiator. He can totally pull off that role.

Those are some great choices. I think Jeremy Sisto would be an awesome Aro.

I like Jeremy Sisto.. I'm just not sure how evil he can really be.... Besdies, I thought Ben Barnes almost had this thing locked up... Barnes strikes me as an actor who can be quite patronizing which is really Aro's main trait. He's almost too accomodating.

I think I'd rather die than see Smith as Marcus... than being said I think he could do it, though I would like it to be someone who's got more sadness to his face. Marcus lost his mate, vampires never get over that!

Joaquin doesn't act anymore... he retired. I doubt he'd come back for a movie like New Moon. He was Commodus from Gladiator! I just talked to my BF and giving him the criteria (mid-30's, dark features, can play evil, pretty..) and he suggested Stephen Dorff... hell yeah, he was awesome as Deacon Frost...

I'm not really sure either of the 2 guards are nice... I think Felix is like Marcus.. bored. He's kinda mocking and isn't he the one who snorts, raising Edwards ire, when talk arises of killing Bella? What about someone like Oded Fehr or Jason Behr... someone dark and broody.

I like Ryan Reynolds (he is from my hometown and we went to college together oh-so-briefly) but I'm not sure he's fitting for Demetri. If I had to put him as someone he strikes me as a Garrett. Just saying. I think you need someone more hulking and mean-spirited... Did you see Reynolds in Blade: Trinity... he's all about the name tags and little quips. I think someone dark and hulking could be good... Channing Tatum maybe... Demetri is a hard one to cast since he's supposed to just instill fear.. who the hell instills fear? 6 years ago I would have said Vin Diesel (a la Chronicles of Riddick) now I'm not so sure...
