I think this is where I should post this but if it's not right, please feel free to move it.

This is the cake I made for some co workers (I work in a book store) for the release of Breaking Dawn. It's a pound cake with fondant and gum paste on the figures.

I'm not a professional baker and I did this as a gift. Enjoy the pics.

I've been tossing around the idea of a Twilight themed quilt for a few days. I have a lot of other things to work on first and would need to draw up some ideas. I don't just want to turn the book covers into fabric and use those. Any suggestions would be good. If you quilt here were some things I was thinking...

Using a collage of different blocks. A motorcycle block, a car block (as close to a Volvo as I can get), a wolf/dog block, a house block (because it seems like homes are important, either Bella's or the Cullens or the Black's)... things like that. I'll have to look through some block books and maybe talk it over with my quilt guild but it would be something fun to tackle, along with my Harry Potter and Ireland quilt. :)

I've made quite a bit of Twilight inspired jewelry.

It started out as something I just did for myself and friends, but after wearing an Edward bracelet I made to work a few times and getting asked about it constantly (I work in a bookstore - LOTS of Twilight fans!) I decided to put some up in an Etsy shop.

I made four similar shirts for the Breaking Dawn release in NYC... we definitely got some stares in the subway as we walked around matching the book we had our noses in....

Wow. I'm totally going to ask if I can get Bella's Bracelet for Christmas. It's beautiful.
