ohhh okay. yeah i remember that episode. she just looks so different without her buns and olden day clothes, hahaEdward_Addict wrote:Yeah Lauren, that lady vamp at the end was Lorena - Bill's maker. They first showed her last season when Bill had a flashback to when he was first made into a vamp. I am SO annoyed that they're bringing her into the show this soon. In the books she has her one and only appearance in book 3. Grrr.

Re: True Blood-- Based on The Southern Vampire Mysteries Series
True Blood WAS at Comic Con. I saw a short interview on G4 with Alexander Skarsgard (Eric) and the girl who plays Jessica. Alexander was so cute, when the interviewer asked if women ask to be bitten, Alexander says yes and he actually bites when they ask! And the interviewer asked if he only bites the hot girls, and Alex said he bites everyone. He doesn't want to leave anyone out. How cute is that??
EDIT: Here's an interview with Alexander, Anna, and Stephen.

Re: True Blood-- Based on The Southern Vampire Mysteries Series
Rrrrr Well after last nights Episode I think HBO needs to send a letter apology to CH for trashing her wonderful series of books. THAT WAS AWFUL! Sorry but that whole flash back with Lorena and Bill savagely killing that couple. Nothing like that ever remotely happened in the books. I am sick of the show. The only saving grace of last night was the Hoyt, Jessica reunion. that was sweet. The Maryann and Weird sex parties, with the people with the black eyes, and Sam and Daphne.. Sick of it.
Its going so far away from the books its hard to figure out. The Sookie thing with the Church was the closest they have gotten in a while, But Jason sure had no part with The Newells. Ack Sick of it I tell you.
OK the part with Eric taking a bite out of the woman, I assume a hotel employee was funny, He was not into her at all. LOL
Sorry for the rant, I just hate to see how they are ruining the books, Can you imagine what the uproar of fans would have been if they did that kind of crap to the twilight series?
Gee can we guess what WONT be in it next? Bubba?? I think not! But that would be hysterical. Alcide?? Doubt it.
Will there even be weres in it?? The thing is the material in the books is custom made for a show, Everything was so great why do they have to change it so drastically.?

Kim - The Fellowship couple's last name is Newlin btw..lol..but that is okay. I know you are all flustered about the show is going I think that guy playing Steve Newlin is doing a good job. He is actually how I pictured him.
I kind of felt the same way last night..I wish they left the whole Maryann thing out..because that sex party, I was thinking, "Wow, just when I thought the show couldn't get any porn'ier." Sure, she could have stayed as the maenad, but maenads were not only focused on sex crap..but because it is HBO, they like to push the limits.
I knew Daphne was bad news from the beginning. Sam needs to develop better "spidey senses". I am also very annoyed with Tara and how unbelievably naive and stupid she is. It is absolutely ridiculous..and I don't know when Sookie is coming back home, but I know I would be P*SSED OFF if I got there and there were total strangers living in my house without my consent. I got so p*ssed off for Sookie when Tara all invited MaryAnn and her lackies to stay. I was like, "OH HELLZ NO TARA!"
As much as I love Lafayette and the guy they got to play him (because Nelson Ellis does an AMAZING JOB) I really with they stuck with the books and had him in the car instead because it totally goes against the flow of events..but of course we all know they have not exactly been going with the flow anyway.
I know it is a show BASED on the books, but I too question how come they have changed it SO drastically.

OMG Kristin! Oh we need a fainting Smiley bad! Gorgeous! But that sure as hell is not Anna Paquin!
Oops had to pick myself up off the floor! So what did you think of sundays episode?
And G you are right, I got the Wackos name wrong, LOL. I still hated the episode, I am too much of a fan of the books, It kills me to see the twisting of the stories. But morbid curiosity compels me to keep watching to see how bad they ruin it. I am still praying for an Eric/ Sookie Interlude! One can only hope.

I SO agree that they need to send CH a letter with a million sorrys in it. They are ruining the storyline. They are changing things up wayyy too much! All I know is they better leave Alceed in. UGH I also agree that the only thing that saves this last episode was Hoyt coming for Jessica.. OMG soooooo cute!
