Re: The British thread
do you know when you are moving nightrunner??? that totally sucks if you are going to start it and then not get the chance to finish them.
our teachers got completly drunk at our prom, and then one of them dropped a bottle of wine on the dance floor = that was funny. and people were also minesweeping all of the alcoholic drinks. and all of the guys were trying to dance with the two young teachers who are kind of hot. we also got searched and had to go through a metal detecter before we were allowed in the place.
my prom was VERY memorable

at least you will have the AS levels, but it sucks that you have to change halfway through.
yeah apparently they take their security very seriously. course this could be just for my school, because in the past we had people bring in knives, on more than 1 occasion. ahhh the good old days, where we had emergency bells so we had to stay in the nearest classroom because someone almost knifed a teacher.
i am so glad i am out of there.

Re: The British thread
Ha lol, I guess it was just something that you got used to! i mean most of the time there was just fist fights and the teachers would stop it, and knives only turned up a few times. and none of the teachers actually got stabbed, but one of them did get threatened with one, and she ended up with a broken arm. she didn't come back to school for ages because she had a mental breakdown.
talking to people wasn't so bad, because you got to know who were the type to bring knives, or get real angry and lash out. i avoided them. i was okay at my school.
the only time i got close to being in a bad situation was when two of my guy mates got into a fight. i got in between them, and neither of them would hit me, so they backed off. it was my hero moment!!!

Re: The British thread
Sounds like it!! I think I'd have left them to it
The worst thing that happened in our school were these boys, for some reason, took viagra. Then one of them was messing about on the school roof with his mates and the pills kicked in. So he wouldn't come down off the roof because he was scared everyone would see it and all the teachers thought he was stuck so they had to call the fire station to come and get him down

Re: The British thread
haha oh dear. Must have been interesting when he explained to the fire brigade what he was doing up on the roof.
All we had at our school (years ago now it feels) were fist fights. I did like being in the 6th form there though as you didnt have to wear uniform and as you were walking around the newbie year 7s would think you were a teacher and suddenly stop misbehaving haha.
