Jed walked into the house and into the living. He heard lots of planning for CHristmas decorting- which reminded him. He really had to go shopping for her. Maybe Lid had some ideas...

Looking around the room, he saw Rosa on the couch, looking like she was in quite a bit of pain, and Maria looking very concerned. Was she hurt too? It was a wonder that he didn't get called in by Lidia more often, or did they save all their get-hurt for the time he just happened to be around. Jed walked over to the couch and its occupant, "Rosa, are you alright?" He asked.

((Well, maybe if people would, you know, realize there's still a fight going on and not everything's fine and dandy?

((Not to mention the cleanup! We've got fires and three helicopter carcasses to deal with!

((And Gio's dealing with 2 1/2 people- and he's not even the best fighter!

(Hey! I'm here, waiting to help! If I knew what was going on... I hate people screwing up my plottings, so I assume it goes vice versa...
Perhaps I'll make Lid clean while she watches.)

I frowned, making abosolutely no sense of the fight. In the mean time, I cleaned up the helicopter mess, scrubbing out burn stains on the ground and moving metal junk to a pile, while watching the fight out of the corner of my eye. Was Queenie really attacking Gio? Did he try and kiss her or something?

((On the other hand, Gio doesn't know that anyone's there aside from Queenie and Talon- unless you happen to say something... Hm, wait. Is Lidia making any noise while cleaning up?))

I heard a strange noise. "Is someone there?" I called out, jumping back as I felt Queenie reappearing before me. "A little help, please?"

(Yes, she's making noise! Wait, is Talon just standing there, laughing?)

I heard Gio call, "Is someone there? A little help, please?" so I swooshed over to him.

"I'm here, Gio. Can you tell me why the twins are eating Queenie's head?" I asked, watching with a raised eyebrow. I could see Talon, and I glared at him. Now would be an oppourtune moment to jump on him and rip his head off...

((No- Talon's encased in Queenie's shield. Gio's using him as a glorified pinball, so he's whizzing and bouncing around the area.))

Thank goodness Lidia's here.

"She cast a spell on me- I can't see anything," I explained, jumping out of the way again. "I think she's under some sort of mind control- she's trying to attack me and I can't keep her still. The twins are preventing her from casting any more spells."

Let us see where Mr. Mind Controller is, shall we?)

I nodded, "Well, mind control would explain why Queenie's mind is like a freaking black hole. Gimmie a minute and I'll see if I can rectify the problem." I vanished into the woods, searching for this mysterious mind controller person. I spread my mental search out, listening for minds in the woods. I took another look at Queenie's head as well, and saw/felt something that could only be described as a mental umbilical cord of darkness. I followed it into the woods, hoping it would led me to my prey...

A growl rumbled from Queenie's chest once more as she attempted to attack Giovanni, who was quickly evading her.

This dance is growing old. Let us try a different approach, Queenie. The voice inside her head beckoned.

Queenie's face softened as confusion soon spread across it.

"...Oh, my." She murmured sadly. "I'm terrible sorry, Giovanni. Did I--try to hurt you?"

She moved swiftly so that she was only inches away from his face.

"Forgive me?" She cooed, brushing her fingertips along his jawline.

Jed came into the living room and saw Rosa. "Rosa, are you all right?" he asked.

I bit my lip, and waited for Rosa's answer. On the second hand, I didn't really wanna hear it.

I turned to Demetri, who silently asked me if I wanted to leave. I shook my head, and stood there, grabbing hold of Demetri's hand.
