Bill Condon as director
Pel has done a really great job of highlighting Condon's career to give us a run down of just how significant this director is.

The LA times has also chimed in on it.

Personally, I'm very happy to have this director. He's directed material that is already established and has a fan following, so he knows that he has to bring the good or the fans won't be happy. He's never really had a flop so to speak. All of his films have been received well either critically or commercially. And of all the directors, he's the one with the most credentials.
I know that credentials don't mean your will put out a great film. Take the last Indiana Jones film for example. That was a total WTH film and it had a cast and crew of epic proportions. Literally. But that film was far from good. So I am not that naive. But I do feel very comfortable with him and have great respect for his work. So here's to having high hopes for a great film.

He'll do well, I dont think that anyone has failed us really with the movies, but each was different in a subtle way.

I have heard he is an excellant director. I have not seen anything of his so i can't judge him as a director. He seems to be able to with a lot of the awards that he has won.

I have faith in him I think he'll do a great job
I just saw an interview and he said Twilight fans will be pleased to know, nobody will be breaking out in show tunes like in Dream Girls That is a relief

Me too! At least he's dedicated ! But I would rather him not be reading Catherine Hardwicke's journal ...Don't want to go down that road again ...

I know! That would just be BAD on so many levels! But, with how good the saga has gone so far,I have faith that he will do well and put forth a GREAT movie!
