Eclipse Special Effects--are they getting better?

I think that they have definatley gotten better! The sparkling effect of the vampires and the wolves were excellent. I liked how the wolves looked so real, especially when they were in the fight scenes - they moved so fluidly.
I didnt like how the vampires shattered like glass until i realised that it was more like ice than glass. after all, they are described like ice in the books. I did, however, like the efect of them breaking and being attacked better in New Moon because it was more like granite/stone. It seemed a lot more realistic i guess
Im glad that they are obviously spending more time on the effects because it really shows
