HI everyone!! Glad to be back!
Okay, I really loved it! When I first started reading it I was happy that the wedding happened early so we could find out other more pressing things, then she got pregnant and I was a bit freaking out trying to figure out how she was going to have a child and turn into a vampire. I thought she was going to have to stay human to raise her child and was not happy with that. Then when we got to the part where it takes over from Jake's pov I was like, wait.....what is Bella doing. She's pregnant take me back. BUT after reading Jake's section, I really started loving him! He is hilarious! Some of my favorite parts where the blonde jokes! I applaude SM for doing that. She really got her readers to understand Jake and love him too. Then we got back to Bella's pov and she got turned early enough for us to see how she is as a vamp. I was completely delighted with that. I wanted that more than anything, and I got to see it and I loved it. It is my favorite in the series. Twilight will always have a soft spot in my heart, New Moon is just heartbreaking, that's the book I love to hate!, Eclipse was my favorite, but now it's Breaking Dawn. We pretty much all got what we wanted and what SM has been showing us all along and I am glad I had a great experience with the books! I do hope she will continue to write on the series. She needs to let us know what happens with the Volturi, they are too power hungry and need to be taken care of, and what happens with Renesme and Jake. I did feel bad for Leah. I was hoping she would find her happy ending! But there might be more of that too!! TWO THUMBS UP FOR SM!! :D
Love is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part.

The whole time I thought something would happen to stop their Wedding or their Wedding Night. I was so happy and relieved when nothing bad happened.

I loved this book so much!
I was reading it non-stop
I probably lost some weight too.
Reading and no eating.
I'm happy how everything worked out.
I got scared something bad may happen in the book and ruin it.
But nope! Nothing : D

So refreshing to have an ending that didn't kill off half of the main characters too.

Ahh I reallyy agree with you on that.
I'm a Harry Potter Fan too, I love both.
But I'm happy Stephenie didn't kill off a ton of people.
Unlike in HP a few people died which was a bit upsetting.

I LOVED BREAKING DAWN!!!!!

(okay...that's the last of of my teenage-girl screaming, i promise).

i got the book at midnight, was back at my house by 1220 and read the entire thing in one sitting. it took me twelve hours!! that's by far the longest marathon read i've ever had. anyway, i loved the book because pretty much everything i wanted to happen, did. the wedding and honeymoon were completely swoon-worthy. i was scared that something bad would happen before they got married, so i'm infinitely glad that i got the wedding scene that i wanted. could anyone ask for a better honeymoon, especially with the song dark blue by jack's mannequin playing in your head during it? i mean, really? well...besides for the whole getting pregnant at the end of it...which leads me to...

i was NOT expecting bella to get pregnant and i hated SM for a minute because i had this thought like "stephenie meyer would have bella be pregnant and then let her DIE! she would SO do that to me!!" needless to say, i was in a state of perpetual anxiety during jacob's section. but, i did like having his point of view. oh! and then jacob imprinting on nessie came completely out of left field. i really didn't see it coming, but i'm glad jacob got someone! now i can love him without feeling like i'm betraying edward. and bella can live without questioning her love of edward.

i don't know about anyone else, but i cried at the part in jacob's section when he says he knew bella was dead because he couldn't feel her pull anymore. and then something about leaving edward to work over his dead corpse. i was like NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! i slapped my hand over the page where it said part three because i was terrified to see it be edward's or nessie's section. it was terrible....but then it turned out good so yay!

i thought bella as a vampire was absolutely wonderful. that whole first day of her immortality was just classic. i was so happy that bella wasn't one of the crazy newborns, too, because that probably would have ruined it for me. and! i'm definitely glad that bella had a cool power and that her "power" wasn't just amazing self-control, cuz that would have been lame. overall, SM put in everything i would have been curious about. definitely my favorite part of the book, and one of the reasons why BD became my second favorite of the series---twilight will always be first, for starting it all. :)

umm...i kinda wish there would have been more action at the end of the book--you know, an actual fight with the volturi--but i'm happy that no one died. well, except for irina, but does anyone really care about her? i know some people have a problem with the ending being too neat, or have problems with happy endings in general, but i love them. i am a hopeless romantic so the end really couldn't have been better. ::sighs wistfully::

i was so caught up in the book that i had to read it again like two days after. even now i'm tempted to go back and read the entire series in one go but, alas, i have stupid things like school to worry about...grumble.

okay, i loved it. and that's all.

I liked it. I did.

BUT... I thought it was a big jump in maturity for Bella. It was almost unrealistic (though what is less realistic than vampires and werewolves?). I also thought there was almost too much going on. Most books have the problem-solution format, but there were SO many problems, and SO many solutions! It was a very busy book, which can be good or bad, depending on the reader.

As a newly-married woman, I thought SM skimped a little on the *ahem* celebration-of-their-marriage scenes, but I can see why, it being targeted towards teens.

Yeah I thought that too, and yet some people said there was too much sex...

LOL. This was really funny at the Chicago Concert Series. She answerd a question about the amount of sex in the book some people were so wanting more and expressed it. But for me, it was kind of just right. I've been reading the Other Boleyn Girl and was watching a bunch of stuff that didnt show SM's same restraint with the sex so it was kind of nice to get a little less detail, but i could have stood for a bit more. I'd LOVE to have read about the pillows.
Clarity of mind means clarity of passion, too; this is why a great and clear mind loves ardently and sees distinctly what it loves.
